it only takes a couple traitors or “mavericks” to do a tremendous amount of damage
until and unless Rand can show some legitimate reason to vote against the nominee, he’s WAY WAY out of line on this one. Way out.

Paul told Fox and Friends on Sunday he was worried Kavanaugh, a judge on the DC circuit court of appeals, could cancel out supreme court justice Neil Gorsuch’s vote on fourth-amendment cases and allow the federal government to collect the phone records of millions of Americans. This is the sort of thing that Rand Paul does which is sill kabuki dance nonsense. The SCOTUS has not and will not mandate that this data be collected. It's being collected because congress authorized it. Congress can make it illegal. Rand Paul is in congress and can put forth such legislation since he feels the practice is unconstitutional. But he'd rather sit back and hope the SCOTUS will legislate this away from the bench. Because nobody has a say or role in law anymore outside the SCOTUS apparantly.

If there were more Rand Pauls we might have been spared Souter, O’Connor, Kennedy & Roberts.
From what I hear, this guy is LEFT of Kennedy. Rand Paul is one of our few true statesman in the Senate.
