This president is not going to be forced out of office because of infidelity. Congress has been down that road before — and it led nowhere.
Last week was widely held to be the darkest of President Donald Trump’s presidency. His longtime former attorney Michael Cohen pleaded guilty to a campaign finance violation — paying off Trump mistresses in what amounted to an illegal campaign contribution — and indicated Trump put him up to it. It was, some said, the beginning of the end.
Well, the end may come. But this is not the beginning of it. Trump is not going to be forced out of office because of infidelity (which he has denied). Congress has been down that road before — and it led nowhere.
Trump’s voters are not going to abandon him over this issue, just as President Bill Clinton’s didn’t when he faced impeachment in 1998. Given that Congress decides on impeachment and it is essentially a political act, Congress will respond to the demands of voters — enough of them, anyway — and leave Trump in the Oval Office.
A president does not leave office when House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., decides he needs to go — even if she becomes speaker of the House. He does not leave office if he loses some Republican House members in swing districts. He does not even leave if he loses the Republican majority in the Senate, where conviction requires a two-thirds vote on impeachment charges — and the backing of more than half the members in the House.

It was not a campaign contribution. It was not even illegal. It was in fact, standard practice for people running for or in political office or even just high profile people.
If you were a billionaire and just didn’t want to deal with the headaches, what’s a paltry (to you) $250,000?

Trump is NOT going to be impeached. After Tuesdays Ohr testimony, They’ll be hiring lawyers. I hear Gitmo is undergoing millions of dollars in renovations. Can’t help but wonder if some of these Treasonous creatures will be enjoying the tropics in a 6x6 room for the rest of their lives.
Bill Clinton was NOT impeached for infidelity! He was impeached for lying under oath to a Federal Judge.

The issue is not impeaching the best President of my personal lifetime. The issue is getting that damn wall funded and built. Forcing illegals to self-deport through force of law and lack of income. Holding all the deep state criminals responsible for their crimes against we the people which I know is a long shot but still; there must be a way.
The issue is fixing immigration laws and keeping the economic engine running strong. Those are the issues people care about.

As has been said before, the Democrats decided on impeachment on November 9, 2016 and figured they’d fill in some reasons later.
Because a “maverick” is a cow that prefers donkeys.
Now they expect us to believe without question the accusations from a convicted lawyer, strippers, and porn stars who don't even come up to that standard.

Stopped reading right there. Clinton was not impeached for infidelity. If the premise of the piece is tainted in the first line, no reason to read further.

The Dems know that the Senate will not remove Trump from office just like the Reps knew that the Senate would not remove Clinton.
There have only been two Presidents who have been impeached, Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton. Neither was removed from office. The Dems objective is to have Trump join that list as a form of payback for Clinton and energizing their base. The impeachment process will give them a platform to disparage Trump before the 2020 election. Maybe they believe they can discourage Trump from running again.

If the Democrats take over the house, YES, Trump will be impeached.
Will he be deposed as President? NOT A CHANCE.
Impeachment will simply be a Dem strategy to derail his agenda. In other words -— a plan to BLOCK anything Trump plans to do. THAT’s ALL.
If the Dems take over Congress, the next 4 years will be 4 years of essentially nothing getting done.
There's good news...and bad news...on the impeachment front.If a Republican is Speaker in January DJT will not be impeached.If a Rat is Speaker he will be.
