Sen. Lindsey Graham said Wednesday that President Donald Trump called him after he delivered an emotional farewell to Sen. John McCain on the Senate floor, telling the South Carolina Republican he "did right by his friend."
"He called yesterday after my speech and he couldn't have been nicer. He said, 'That was very sad. I just want to let you know you did right by your friend.' I said, Thank you Mr. President.'" Graham told CNN's Dana Bash in an interview on "Inside Politics" Wednesday, adding that the call from the President was "right out of the blue."
Never one to mince words, Graham admitted when Trump "says something bad about John, it pisses me off."
Asked by Bash how he squares his close friendship with McCain to his new relationship with Trump, Graham said, "If you know anything about me, I want to be relevant. I want to make sure that this President, Donald Trump, who I didn't vote for, ran against, is successful."
He added, "To those who want me to say the only way you can honor John McCain is to fight Donald Trump and try to kick him out of office, I don't agree. I'm going to do what I think is best for the country using what John taught me about the country."(continued)

Well, then there shouldn’t be any hard feelings about Trump endorsing his inevitable primary opponent in a couple of years.
Also, it would be good to get Lindsay on record not only about what he thinks of McCain disinviting from his funeral the sitting president of the country he supposedly loved so much but also his 2008 running mate who never said a bad word about him.
She had all kinds of reasons to say bad things. He ruined her life.
Those two had to be lovers on the down low even if they never actually had sex. A true Bromance maybe or something similar. Close conspirators.
At any rate half the team is dead and gone (thankfully) so hopefully the living half will do the right thing as needed for the party, President, and the country. Time will tell.

Wished Trump didnt have to call this POS. But there were some judge nominations that Lynchme personally helped to get approved to federal judge’s seats.
McCainiac didn’t ruin Sarah’s life. Sarah is much stronger than McCainiac could have ever been. Sarah has the respect, admiration and gratitude of more Americans than McCainiac ever would. SHE knows who and what she is. McCainiac only knew what could get him power.

Graham won’t change anything except his rhetoric.
He is still committed to abandoning the rule of law and surrendering the country to illegal aliens.
He has to be replaced in 2020 along with Alexander.
