At his rally on Thursday night in Indiana, President Donald Trump unleashed his usual attacks on the news media, but he also added a refrain that should set off loud, clanging alarm bells. Trump didn't simply castigate "fake news"; he also suggested the media is allied with special counsel Robert Mueller's probe - an alliance, he claimed, that is conspiring not just against Trump but also against his supporters.
"Today's Democrat Party is held hostage by left-wing haters, angry mobs, deep state radicals, establishment cronies, and their fake news allies," Trump railed. "Our biggest obstacle and their greatest ally actually is the media."
In case there is any doubt about what Trump meant by the "deep state" that is supposedly allied with the news media, Trump also lashed out at the FBI and Justice Department, claiming that "people are angry," and threatening to personally "get involved."
Robert Chain, who was arrested earlier this week for allegedly threatening to murder journalists at the Boston Globe while mimicking Trump's language, also connected Mueller's investigation to the media. "You're the enemy of the people, and we're going to kill every f-king one of you," Chain snarled into one employee's voicemail, according to FBI documents. "Why don't you call Mueller, maybe he can help you out."
Trump surely knew about this arrest when he repeated his attacks on the news media Thursday night - and when he connected the media to the Mueller investigation....

Attacks on Trump are no such thing, they are attacks on his voters first and foremost.
What the left fails to see as they pursue obscurity, is the desire in the hearts of Americans to lay down their lives to lives for a free and just society.
I suppose that to members of the swamp, this kind of rhetoric *does* sound alarming. It means that their power is in deep trouble. If they had any understanding of history, they would know that when the ruling class becomes too arrogant, too dismissive of the people, bad things happen. If they were halfway intelligent, they would realize that electing Trump is the people’s peaceful way of bringing the ruling class back into line. But no, they have to be dragged kicking and screaming back to reality.
These democrat socialist are beside themselves with grief. They are gnashing teeth in pain as Trump wins and wins and wins.
Alarming? Yes!
Factual? Yes!
They aren’t covering the rallies. They are covering the protesters and cherry-picking soundbites.

Mr. Sargent, dangerous enemies often require dangerous responses. Trump’s language is no more inflammatory than that of the media.

We need to simplify the term for liberals. “Deep state” is simply
* Unelected government workers
* Who make their own agenda
* Who follow laws only when they feel like it (i.e. when they WANT to notify congress, not when they are REQUIRED to)
* Who refuse oversight from any elected representatives (congress, president) even when the Constitution and laws call for the oversight.
It is not a conspiracy theory that the FBI/DOJ worked to determine an election. Whether or not that theory is true, the “deep state” exists (by the definition above) and could work to determine an election in the future.
It doesn’t matter if it’s the Dept. of Education, or the IRS, or DOJ. If they operate outside the Constitution (e.g. refuse congressional oversight) they are “deep state”. They can operate against liberals in the future if they chose, so the left has a reason to fix things for the future even if they are happy with what the deep state did in the recent past.
The media is “the enemy of the people” if they enable the deep state. The things I mentioned above have happened recently (are still happening). And they allow “deep state” groups across the government to do unconstitutional harm to ANYONE they target for any reason. Supporting them now because you like their current target is short-sighted and dangerous to the future of the country.
Media should be demanding that government workers follow laws and allow oversight from our elected representatives. And, if Trump committed crimes and the FBI/DOJ did nothing wrong, what’s the harm in calling for the FBI/DOJ to cooperate with congressional oversight?

The left’s rhetoric has their supporters firing rifles at Republicans, sucker punching Trump supporters and rioters given permission to attack Republicans, by police who are told to stand down.
Where are those facts in this article?

Remember “vast rightwing conspiracy”? And the media alarm bells it raised? Yeah, I remember the first part but the second one is a little hazy.
Anyone with two brains cells to rub together knows that the Ministry of Propaganda is a cheerleader for the left, including the Mueller mob.
