I will bet that had say Jeb! won and nominated Kavanaugh, none of this would have happened. The underying power on the left is not specifically about the Court, but about the totality of Trump’s MAGA agenda and the undoing of Obamanation. They could have lived with one guy on the court but that on top of losing power everywhere else...not so much.

After listening to Collin’s defense of Kavanaugh today, it appears that Kavanaugh is basically a centrist, establishment Republican.
So it’s really not a big step for the NeverTrump gang to endorse Kavanaugh. But it does expose Kristol, Rubin, and Boot as even more treacherous than their NeverTrump weasel brothers.

Horowitz is a tough customer. But he is a brilliant writer and a man who suffers tremendous guilt for his past. He has tried to make up for that in the last 30 years.
