LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — When a Republican state legislator in Arkansas pushed last year to rename the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport in Little Rock, Clarke Tucker stood up for the former president.
“The argument was that the people of Arkansas don’t support the Clintons,” said Mr. Tucker, a Democratic member of the state House of Representatives. “My thought at the time was, well, the people of Arkansas voted for Clinton eight times.”
But now, as the Democratic nominee in the tightest congressional race in this state, Mr. Tucker is happy for the former president and his wife to remain a plane ride away. Mr. Clinton, who was governor and attorney general of Arkansas, was once a near-ubiquitous presence helping Democrats in tough races back home, but the former president hasn’t been asked to appear on the trail for Mr. Tucker.
There are no plans for him to do so. Or, for that matter, appear publicly with any Democrat running in the midterm elections....

Bill doesn’t clean up after he makes a stain.
Bill couldn’t make it to Arkansas anyhow. He’s the special envoy of the United Nations to Haiti, and he’s too busy fixing up Haiti after that terrible earthquake.
No public buildings, roads, bridges, etc should be named for living people. Let their entire lives be known before the naming.
A hundred,or so, years later the left will decide whether to tear them down.

People who operate on principle and bedrock values, will always be welcomed, as certain values and attitudes are timeless.
People who operate on their own short-term gain, political popularity schemes or calculation of trends will always fall out of favor, no matter how famous or powerful they may have once been.
No One Wants to Campaign With Bill Clinton Anymore.

The current "Meadowlands Arena" in New Jersey was originally named "Brendon Byrne Arena" for the then-Governor of New Jersey, a Democrat of course.
That lasted 15 years. Then, in 1996, it was renamed for Continental Airlines; after that it was called "IZOD Center."
Now it's "Meadowlands Arena," I guess because they couldn't find anyone who wanted to pay their rate for the "naming rights."
He brings a posse of 20-something bimbos. Who wouldn’t want to hang out with that?
It would be bad optics to have him do anything.

Honestly, Slick has lasted about fifteen years longer than I thought he would. I was sure that some lurking underlying condition would have caused his heart to burst or some major organ failure to occur.
And of course there is his regular exposure to the Wrath of Herself, even if not on a daily basis.
People have died under mysterious circumstances before now.
Pretty much the real reason the liberal media waged war on AJ. He has been against the Clinton Crime Machine for a long time.
