“Yeah, because they didn’t even hold a legitimate trial as specified by law. The GOP Senate was wetting their pants in fear that they might have to follow the Constitution and the law and convict Clinton so they did an end around”
There was also the Fear Factor that the recourse would be just plain fugly... Because as some people know, but many others do not, there are things that happen the cloakroom that stay in the cloakroom. And I heard that from an old White House staffer... That everybody has the got dirt on everybody else, and they just didn’t want to expose themselves to an out-and-out disclosure, In other words... A good old-fashioned Mexican standoff. So they left Clinton alone because Clinton had the goods on a lot of people when he and his lovely wife snagged all them FBI Files back at the beginning of his tenure in office. but, have no doubt whatsoever that those files only contain the tip of a very large Iceberg of information.
Oh man, you’re right. I should have had the spoiler alert. At least I didn’t mention how later on Starbuck tries to .... oops! almost did it again!
They keep talking about “impeachment” (including people here) as if it meant that Trump and/or Kavanaugh could actually be REMOVED by the Senate.
It’s so absurd that it doesn’t even warrant discussion.
You’ll find out on page 24

If the “impeachment” talk (that’s all it is) is going to keep them busy, let them have at it.
Like keeping a child busy while the parents have something important to do.
The idiot Steyer is so stupid that it hurts to think that he has so much money. How did he get all that money...fantasy phone investor?
As far as them trying to impeach Kavanaugh, how would that work? What is the process?
What I was trying to ask is How the process of them trying to impeach Kavanaugh would even work?
I have never seen the Houses try to impeacu a sitting Supreme Court Justice.
Under the Constitution, they can use procedures similar to impeaching a President. It is all part of checks and balances. The Senate would never convict either Kavanaugh or Trump. If the Dems in the House are stupid enough to try it, they would reap devastating political consequences. I doubt the Dems have the votes in the House to pull it off. Those members who won close races wont want to face the voters having voted for impeachment.
