January will mark the beginning of a cavalcade of Democratic presidential hopefuls who are preparing to officially launch their campaigns early in the new year, according to multiple advisers and aides working for the prospective candidates.
Running for president has become a two-year endeavor, and, even though everyone says they hate it, candidates invariably get sucked into the presidential primary-industrial complex and rush to Iowa and New Hampshire as quickly as possible, lest they get left behind.
The calculus that goes into that decision turns out to be pretty simple and comes down to one thing above all else: money. And lots of it....

Their efforts are now in vain.
Their “quest” began the moment he came down the escalator in 2015. It won’t stop even after he leaves office on January 20, 2025.
The Democrats seem to forget that Trump is in charge of the NSA, DIA, etc. If they want to go on a fishing expedition, he can go on a fishing expedition as well and he does have the goods on the Dims.
this is rather a tired meme which has gotten beyond insane already - bordering on “boy who cried wolf” status. for the hard core 30% do or die lemming Dems, anything will work. but i think independents and moderate Dems are going to be turned off.
If Tom Steyer is still alive 24 hours after the House passes an impeachment, the Democrats will win and the US will be an openly Communist nation in your lifetime. Someone will need to start slitting actual throats of the Democrats’ billionaire funders or this game is over, and soon.
I’m coming around to the opinion that every oath sworn to defend the Constitution from domestic enemies was a false one, and therefore I am not willing to be the one to do the deed, I am getting the hell out before I get sent to the gulag for wrongthink.

We’ve discussed that. At 70, we’ll probably stick it out here. We’ve heard Panama and Costa Rica should be considered but leaving now would be practically impossible.

I think it’s time purchase a small island about 500 - 1000 miles off the coast of the USA so we can watch the carnage from afar.

I’m thinking this may be the place where they overstep big time and bring everything to a head....could get messy.
The Republicans will “regretfully and with great sorrow” get on board exactly as soon as they see any fake phony charge they can load their pretense on to. Trump is one man. If he is gone everything returns to “normal”. The powers that be have every reason to believe that we will stand for ANYTHING. That we are toothless. They’re setting Trump up and it will come down to Patriots backing him.
May net and lots of it. Hillary out spent Trump and still lost. I don’t see a leader in the bunch. Biden is probably their best shot. Slavery w Joe at best is second string.
