I live in Kentucky. I’m a rand fan and not a turtle fan. At least Bevin’s loss to the Turtle gave us our own Trump (but more articulate) as a governor.

Bevin is awesome. I think he should run for President in 2024.

For those not familiar with him, here’s a great snippet from 2 years ago.

I would love to see Rand Paul as Senate leader rather that Mitch “China” McConnell. He should have brought the viote to a 51% majority standard for the wall vote on January 2, and he refused. That’s about all I can take from McConnell.

That 38 percent is the hard-core Democrat base in KY, and they are motivated to vote!

I’m a little disturbed by Rand Paul’s approval numbers. They should be much higher. Paul is a very sensible person. Nothing disreputable about him. That should appeal to folks of both parties.

But I guess like everywhere else, most Kentuckians can’t see beyond the D or R.

And yet all thing are lined up to assure he will be re-elected again and again -— the power and privilege of incumbancy.

McConnell is keeping the 60-vote requirement in place because he doesn't want to admit that he doesn't even have 51 votes.

This is like the ObamaCare idiocy all over again. The GOP was perfectly capable of passing bills when they knew Obama wouldn't sign them, but now they're exposing their REAL motivations.

I think McConnell like Ryan were never Trumpers but hide that so Trump supporters don’t turn against them.

Sometimes the truth hurts.

I agree Bevin is very impressive. KY has some great public servants. I like Massie and Comer
