Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) teed off against the House impeachment inquiry on Tuesday, marking his first comments since Congress returned from its two-week break.

"House Democrats are finally indulging in their impeachment obsession. Full steam ahead," McConnell said during a speech from the Senate floor, adding that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) had "crumbled" to the "left-wing impeachment caucus."

"I don't think many of us were expecting to witness a clinic in terms of fairness or due process. But even by their own partisan standards, House Democrats have already found new ways to lower the bar," McConnell added.

So, what’s stopping McConnell from telling democrats that, what the democrats are doing now with the impeachment ‘inquiry’ that doesn’t follow fairness rules and due process, is DOA immediately. That the impeachment papers would get the same treatment and the house inquiry; iow, no fairness and no due process for the impeachment papers.

Well, authorize the Senate Judiciary committee to start holding “probable cause” hearings with power to subpoena and take depositions from, or take public testimony from any potential witness that is to appear before the house. And set an impeachment rule that no witness may appear in the senate, who appeared in the house and was not identified to the Judiciary committe.

Who wrote this piece? The democrat party.

It’s always terms like “Lashed out” or something menacing sounding when referring to republicans, while they softly couch democrat tactics and motives.

Pelosi is a worthy adversary of the even better PDJT.

She is keeping her options open. She is doing so because the logical outcome of all of this nonsense is censure rather than impeachment; and if the Dems can’t perform markedly better than they are presently, that is where this will end. Censure. Not impeachment.

So the Great and Powerful Toregene Khatun from Kalifornia Makes Another Powerful Move.

After successfully ramming through Health Care with her Trojan Document that Could not be Read.

She sent her Voting Hordes into Orange County California to capture back the lost US House.

She has followed this with another powerful move to steal the US Presidency from the legally elected Trump. She will not stop with Trump. If she can fabricate a kangaroo court against Trump, the vice President would be easy peasy.

REPUB committee members should walk out till there is a right to confront your accusers, the republicans power to subpoena, and public viewing of hearings.

Pelosi hasn’t held a vote for one reason and one reason only:

She doesn’t have the votes.

The D’s won at least 40 seats in the House last year; and hold a 18 member lead; 235-199.

My guess is that there are 25 or more of those 40 who would be too nervous of losing their own careers to vote “Yes”; and maybe a few other D’s with prior incumbency.

She probably has only 190 to 200 votes tops. Unless she can convince 30 or so more D’s to vote Yes; there won’t ever be a vote; we’ll all just have to live in this suspended animation through Election Night 2020; and the voters will deliver the verdict.

Cocaine Mitch threw red meat to his base as he seized, pounced, and latched on to Pelosi’s statement that challenged Republican taboos.

Partner, the DemonRat party and the MSM has gone way to far left liberal leaning and we just need to keep telling these folks that they want to cram all of this down our throats on "We the People" on an hourly basis right now.

BTW, we have not mentioned that "We the People" are getting mighty fed up with the this behavior from the members of the DemonRat Socialist party and the MSM which not only hates our "President Trump but hates "We the People.""

“Censure for what offense?”

Good question. But that’s one part of my larger point. For Pelosi et al to impeach, they must at some point enumerate specific high crimes and misdemeanors. And then they must cede the agenda to the Senate, where the very crafty Mitch McConnell will have a field day.

A censure ... well ... can be for anything or nothing. McConnell does not get his day. The Dems could probably get 20-30 RINO votes for a censure, making it seem non-partisan.

I am asserting only that Pelosi is keeping censure as a live option, and that there is reason to believe that this will be a better option for her and for Dems than impeachment in the end.

McConnell’s right... Whenever you think democrats can’t get any lower... any creepier... they find a way. Secret trials stink of Kafkaesque horrors...
