"It doesn't matter who the nominee is," Todd said of the Democratic candidates. "It is a strategy that depends on a middle of the electorate overlooking the president’s personal character and somehow getting him to reelection. I think it' a very uphill battle for him."

What more could the press (asterisks) dig up? Even if they have another 10 Access Hollywood tapes, it won't matter wrt voters' estimation of Trump "personal character".
Talk about Trump personal character is so 2015 - 2016. They (Left) should move on. How about issues voters are really interested in?
The only weakness is that same strategy that Dems used in 2018 to overtake the House, i.e., fake moderate Dems and healthcare scare, and GOP is going to take away your coverage and kill off grandmas.

As for Chuck Todd, when Trump's opposition has the character of a CNN's newscasters, CNN might not want to make character a issue.
Chuck probably prefers Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren because, you know, they have no character flaws at all ...
They are desperate to deny Trump the opportunity to oversee this census. Beyond anything else, I believe this frightens them the most. The democrat majority is built on changing the electorate with illegals, having them vote, and having the party vote tens of thousands of phantom inactive names who they refuse to prune from the rosters. If Trump returns, illegals will not be included for electoral districts and more constitutional courts will again rule FOR America’s interests instead of invaders.
"Scare" people into voting for you. That's a first. And that's saying something for the LSM.
