I disagree. It is superb evidence of 'racist' America. Except, the true racists are those who strive to "see" "evidence" of racism in everything -- and use their "being offended" as a weapon against those who are simply unlike them.
And, much of the above is exacerbated by sheer IGNORANCE.

Anyone who has ever learned to tie ten basic knots knows the "noose" on that overhead door pull rope is, instead, a simple "Overhand on a bight" knot!!!
The "Overhand on a bight" knot can be tied in five seconds or less -- and is non-adjustable.
The "Hangman's Noose" (which I'll not illustrate) is far more complex, involves an uneven number of (typically seven) "wraps" -- and is "adjustable", although it tightens more easily than it loosens...
