Art Torres, former California State Senator and current Chair of California Democratic Party: “Remember, 187 is the last gasp of White America in California. Understand that.”

Can anyone imagine a white politican making this statement? Does anyone out there think a white politician or community leader would still have his position after making this outrageous remark?

Can anyone not believe that the outrage over this comment would not completely ruined anyone else's career/job/position?
