That's almost funny... as my imagination runs a little wild.

They opened it up, and the explosive was cracked?
That means that if they'd tried to use that bomb, it would have fizzled. The implications (to me) are that if one was cracked, others may be cracked too.
I hope someone is looking into finding them, and repairing or replacing them!
