Raines has been listening to Laura Ingraham, I see.
Rush said Raines plagarized him.
Looks like JOHN FONDA KERREDY has a new shorter nickname...other than " FINGERS " LOL
Lurch had more of a loveable personality than John Kerry, though.
Lurch actually looks better than Kerry.
And Lurch had only ONE side to each of his issues.
And Ingraham has been listening to Rush.
Here's a man who took an already nakedly partisan, extraordinarily biased organ for every boutique leftist issue, and made it's reportage/commentary ten times worse!
He assumed the paper as the ever worsening decline initiated under the leadership of Max Frankel and Joseph Lelyveld manifested itself, and proceeded to accelerate it to the point where the paper is no longer recognizable as a legitimate source of news and opinion.
Raines can take his homespun wisdom and condescending manner back to Alabama for all I care. I've had enough of this logorrheic windbag and his high falutin' pretensions.

Why are they running this guy? The answer of course is that they are trying to pass him off as a military man at a time when they know we want a strong defense. That is a joke of course, as he is a traitor, not a hero, but the press ignores that fact!
Yes --- Lurch was much more likeable.
As surprising as it is, Howell Raines seems to have some objectivity remaining, in spite of his reign as editor of the New York Times.
Most of all, he kept his mouth shut if he had nothing intelligent to say. If Kerry shut up, he'd stop arguing with himself (flip-flopper!).
And for the ultimate in dem hypocrisy, Kerry is said to have made remarks that Bill Clinton's lack of military service should not have been an issue when he ran against a genuine combat hero, George H. W. Bush. Oh, what a difference a few years make, huh?
