INGRAHAM: I just -- every time I hear someone in a position of power say that the war on terror has been abandoned when we have three quarters of the al Qaeda leadership in our custody, when our men and women in battle have done such an enormously great job all around the world, not just in Afghanistan, not just in Iraq, but our special forces operating in every country from The Philippines to Indonesia, all over this are globe. I think it's an insult to the troops, and I don't think Senator Graham really means it.
B. GRAHAM: It's not an insult to the troops.
INGRAHAM: Talk to the troops. They're insulted by that.
B. GRAHAM: Laura, you can have a reasonable disagreement with the commander-in-chief and the decisions that he's making as to how to wage the war...
INGRAHAM: Absolutely.
B. GRAHAM: Without denigrating the bravery and courage of the men and women who are actually fighting the war.
INGRAHAM: Right. But Senator Graham, if you let me finish my point that I was trying to make is that when you say that we've abandoned the war on terror, that just is so factually inaccurate. I don't understand, as a senator of the United States, how do you possibly say that? We have three quarters of al Qaeda in custody. How is that abandoning the war in terror? And let me also finish. Saddam Hussein was funding to the tune of $25,000 a family who was supporting suicide bombers going into Israel. We know that, and you know that. And Zarqawi is there today operating freely because he was given safe havens for some time in Iraq. You know that, and I know that. That's not abandoning the war on terror.

I like Ann's columns and Laura's appearances.
The more I hear of her the more I like her. She did well on Scarborough country. If I were Fox I would get her on and get rid of Greta or O'Reilly. Both of those programs grate on my nerves.
Graham isn't the brightest bulb in the socket. I will say, however, that Kerry made a major mistake by not selecting him as his running mate. I believe that his best chance of carrying Florida was Graham and Edwards will deliver nothing for him in the way of EV, which, after all, is what counts.

Agreed. I am SO sick of the celebrity courtroom coverage - Laci Scott Kobe Chandra - blech. FOX may be getting ratings off it from the fetish crowd, but it sends me diving for the remote.
Laura is always effective... I wish she'd get more air time (lose Greta).

Oh she was on fire! I loved it. She had all her facts right there. When Richardson said sKerry didn't try and politicize the OBL tape, Laura got the CNN transcript with Kerry's words! It was wonderful! She also brought up the fact that the military and their families OVERWHELMINGLY support the president and how can they say the president is doing a bad job in Iraq when he has that kind of support. What could they say? Those are the facts!
That's not very hard to do.

I love Laura. I have been listening to her show at night lately... She's a major star-in-waiting. She never backs down.
I watched Matthews tonight and I noted a kindof change in him, he was pretty much saying that the President will do good from the OBL tape, I didn't hear any Kerry spin that I could really take note of...maybe he is jumping ship because he knows his traitor candidate is going to lose?

Even funnier, when a radio personality smashes 2 evil LEGISLATORS so easily - a sneaky senator and an evil ex-diplomat/governor...they looked totally foolish trying to stick up for Kerry. Lindsay Graham, ONOH was a pleasure to listen to, as usual...

She doesn't like doing her own TV show. She said that the other day. She loves what she's doing now, Radio.

I'm in a hotel room so I had to watch CNN. This was the most incredible show! Laura was great.
