Two more men turned themselves in to Milwaukee police Saturday in connection with the slashing of tires on 20 vans and cars rented by the Republican Party on election day, according to department records.
Lavelle Mohammad, 35, of Milwaukee and Justin J. Howell, 20, of Racine were booked on charges of criminal damage to property.
Sgt. Ken Henning said no additional information about the case was available Saturday.
On Friday, two other men - Lewis Gibson Caldwell III, 27, and Sowande Ajumoke Omokunde, 25, both of Milwaukee - surrendered to police on the same charge in connection with the incident, according to department records. Omokunde, the son of newly elected congresswoman Gwen Moore, was released later in the day.
Opel E. Simmons III, 33, a veteran Democratic Party activist from Virginia, was arrested Tuesday and released Thursday without being charged.
On Tuesday morning, 27 tires on 20 vehicles rented by the Republican Party to carry voters to the polls were slashed. The vehicles were parked in the 7100 block of W. Capitol Drive.
A guard reported seeing a man running from the scene that morning, police said. That night, police arrested Simmons, who was in town drumming up support for the Kerry campaign.
A prosecutor said police are seeking other suspects the incident, which is still being investigated.

"Lavelle Mohammad, "
there's that name again....
damn , I would love to see this name banned in this country,
not legally register-able as a legal given man .
Why don't people just name their kids Satan , or Hitler , PolPot , if they want to disgrace the poor kid for life?
And those that name themselves that!? Maybe they could be offered
money to not do us all the disservice of having to call them that.

It will only get worse. It will get to the point that if you dare to show support for a non-'Rat candidate, you had better be carrying heat and be ready to use it. Yes, that means Nader supporters, too. They see you as traitors to the cause and will not stand for it, it is the 'Rat candidate or nobody.

I'm confused...
I thought the Democrats were the party of the erudite and sophisticated - surely they wouldn't act like teenagers on cheap beer!

You can't be serious!
The worst that might have happened is that some yard signs were taken or defaced, but this kind of thuggery? From the GOP? I think not.
Rest assured, if what you are asking HAD happened, the media and John Kerry would have shouted and touted it across the fruited plain! We would never hear the end of the "right wing, fanatic, Nazi storm troopers who mercilessly deface campaign facilities and beat up on old ladies, children and minorities who were peacefully expressing their right to be heard.

Why are democrats this violent and make lies like the CBS? Are these people really American citizens? I hate to admit it. Do they have illusions that freedom of speech allows anything for their expression?

Well, of course! Islam is a religion of peace!/sarcasm off
To: Wiz
They simply think that freedom of speech only applies to liberal speech. Any type of conservative speech is to be banned, according to them. They will then accuse the conservatives of being haters. Welcome to Free Republic.

I'm sure the MSM will be right on this with weeks of stories on the front page of the NYT, etc., etc.
Blather is preparing a hard hitting series of reports on this vandalism by poor misunderstood "good boys".
