I'm not sure which (if any) anti-aircraft weapons have been sold on the black market, nor do I understand what capabilities they might possess (as in max altitude, warhead, targeting, ground support, etc.), but I do fully agree with you about the Clintonistas being the masters of the coverup. Lord knows they had a lot of practice! (Actually, with the help of a willing MSM, who wouldn't be the coverup master. Deniability is about all that is necessary.)

Regardless, TWA Flt 800 didn't just self destruct. Was it a bomb? Was it a missile? I dunno. But it wasn't some random chance spark in the fuel tank. Human intervention is the only thing that brings down a Boeing 747. And yes, I do look quite dashing in my tin-foil hat, thank you, but I don't need it for this. The only "brain washed" about TWA Flt. 800 are the ones who believe the "official" explanation.

Hopefully, one day the truth will be out there in the bright light of day and everyone will have the opportunity to see it.

I'm not saying they got them from the soviets, but the fact is that one of the reasons that the Soviets failed was the effective use the Afghans made of shoulder fired missles that bacically shut down the soviet air offensive. We need to remember that initially Afganistan was an outstanding US covert success, but when we left, we left so fast that we never disarmed the mujahadeen and that is why the Taliban had success because these were the troops that had been using these weapons for years. I don't think anyone really knows what was left behind but it was alot and it was in the hands of people who knew exactly how to use them...Remember, Osama Bin Laden was already a mujahadeen leader at the time of the pull out.

True, but no one says we gave ANYTHING bigger than a stinger to the Afghans, and certainly not a "Grail." So the issue of where such a missile would come from is not minor.

Just got through reading Nelson DeMille's new book dealing with Flight 800, "Night Fall". His theory was that it was a Kinetic missile that hit the plane. It hit the air conditioning system that set off the sparks that caused the fumes in the center fuel tank to explode.
Interesting theory, I highly recommend the book, it makes a good read and offers possibilities.
