No, it's understandable. In fact in university and prep school, I would constantly write the previous year on my essays etc well into March.

I am from Los Angeles and remember the earthquake well. I was a sophomore in prep school and as soon as the earthquake started, oddly enough, I started to run down the stairs....and took a massive tumble.

Anyway, what I remember most about this earthquake was how much damage schools sustained and how fortunate we were that it happened well before schools started.

A tumble down a flight of stairs is no laughing matter. Glad you survived.

Do you recall the quake which knocked down the walls of the parking garage at Cal State Northridge? I believe that was during the Landers quake, although it is possible that it happened during the Northridge quake.

There was a female student just getting out of her car when the walls fell on her. Very sad.
