This is one of the funniest videos EVER. He goes on and on bragging about his gun skills, shoots himself, then tries to go on as if nothing happened.

cleaning the kennels at the dog pound is the best job for him if he stays on, but i fear he is going to medically retire with a handsome pension and some really serious "war stories" to tell about how he got shot in the line of duty.

The bottom line, Mr. and Mrs. America, is that you are on your own, because these assclowns don't have sense enough to pour piss out of a boot.

Pure poetry. Excellent post.

How about this scenario:

- The gun in question had been shot "to empty," resulting in the lockback of the slide
- Magazine is dropped (slide stays locked back, right?)
- Magazine is reinserted, with at least one round in it (by intention or perhaps accidentally)
- Gun is given to DEA agent, who neglects to check the gun himself. Slide still is locked back, but now the magazine has at least one round
- DEA agent, while talking, hits slide release, closing the slide AND CHAMBERING THE ROUND
- DEA agent fires gun

Does this scenario fit the facts? I know it doesn't make sense why anyone would do it, but from what I can see, the steps above WOULD cause the incident.

TIME TO CONTACT YOUR SENATORS AND REPRESENTATIVE . . . SIGARMS®, as well as Smith & Wesson, Beretta, Glock, Colt and Ruger just to name a few, need your help. Congress is taking up the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act. In the House it's H.R. 800 and in the Senate S.397. These bills are to protect the firearms industry from the frivolous, junk lawsuits brought by greedy trial lawyers and the anti-gun crowd led by Sarah Brady and her organization formerly known as Handgun Control Inc. They want nothing more than to drive SIGARMS and the rest of the firearms industry out of business by holding us responsible for the misuse of our products by criminals. It's like suing Ford or Gm when a criminal steals a car and causes and accident. That's why we need your help and now's the time for your voice to be heard. Contact your Senator and your Representative with this easy to use online form set up by the firearms industry. Working together through the Heritage Fund and with your help we can pass H.R. 800 and S.397. The firearms industry's own legal counsel estimates we have spent in excess of $200 million combined. Wouldn't you rather see that money spent on new product R&D, in support of the shooting sports or to help local community firearms safety programs like the industry's own Project ChildSafe? Get online today and make your voice heard.

I have Feinstein and Boxer on my side. My rep is a shrill anti-American. My state can confiscate handguns that are imported and undeclared. My governor banned the .50 caliber rifle. When I complain about him here on FR, the Arnie bots come out in force and try to reassure me that "it's unimportant." Everywhere I turn here, firearms rights are being infringed, impinged, rescinded, and revoked. Our mainstream media outlets fall all over themselves to report firearm crimes as if it were only a problem because of our archaic second amendment nostalgia.

I think neverdem, Joe Brower, and Matt Bracken are really doing good stuff with their online advocacy and writing. Sometimes I think encouraging them is just as good as staying involved myself.

Yep!

That reminds me, it's been too long since I've been to the range...

This clown of a brother is indistinguishable from a pro football player or ex-convict, at least from the video I saw. IIRC, he wore a T-shirt that said POLICE. I wonder who spilled the beans that he was an undercover DEA narc?

" Lo, there are four rules, aren't there!?"

I was going to say something about the "five rules", but I held back, figuring someone else would jump in there and point that out. $:-)

Thanks for the bon mots, by the way. My business has had me buried of late, which is why I haven't been around FR much lately.
