Michigan: Levin (D-MI), Nay Stabenow (D-MI), Nay

As to the former - Don't blame me, I voted for Rocky. As to the latter - she'll be going back to Lansing in 2006 if I have any say in the matter.

Michigan has pretty generally always sent evil people to the Senate, but this Levin character seems to be among the worst.

I thought the GOP failed to recruit the best challengers to Stabenow, thus making her retention of the seat likely. I hope this is not the case. One reason I read for the supposedly top-tier candidates not running is that they hope to run for Levin's seat next if he retires.

But anyway, Landrieu voted for Brown, which surprises me because she doesn't have to pretend to not be a liberal again until 2007 at the earliest. None of the other so-called moderate Dems voted for her.

Update me on her possible opponents. Do you still have a favorite among them?
