I realize this is the final tour and all, but I am annoyed that there is too much media attention being put on Billy Graham the person and not enough on his message. I wonder if he realizes his message is getting lost in all the hype or if he is out of touch or letting pride get to him (I hope not).

It is the media that control's the subject/issue on which they wish to focus on.

In all fairness, I can understand the significance of the attention being payed to a man who has affected so many individuals spiritually, through the Spirit of Christ of course.

God knows who needs to hear His word, and no media outlet has any power over His will.

You echo my thoughts...I find this with many, they glorify the messenger and not God....I do believe this man has inspired many to come to know the Lord...

I understand Kirkwood but he is an American icon and of course the attention is being put on him as such but it's what is said behind the pulpit that counts. I respectfully disagree about the attention and pride comment. I realize he is a sinner (by his own admission) just like all the rest of us, but I truly believe if he thought these things, he would not and could not carry on his life-long work of spreading the gospel. I may be wrong on this though.
