A female poster on another thread thinks he's hot!!! I'm not sure if that answers your question.

Looking at this article, the female demos will go up in the ratings.

“Was it me or was Bill just a honey this morning? He seemed to be just beaming golden sunshine. Yummy Yummm,” writes one of the Hemmerati in a Yahoo chat room.

And on other sites: “If only I could have met him before he became a CNN god, I’m sure I’d have his baby now.”

“I want Bill tied to a chair with whipped cream on him.”

“I bet he would taste better than a hot-fudge sundae.”

He's pretty light weight. No Brit Hume that's for sure, but I have seen Hemmer ask libs questions they didn't want to be asked. The nuts at DU hate him which can only say good things about his character.

From what I hear, Hemmer is a good guy...smooth, versatile and talented. His "sin" at CNN was running afoul of that network's new president Jonathan "Pajamas" Klein. Apparently, Klein didn't think Hemmer had enough gravitas, so he replaced him with the terminally dull Miles O'Brien.

Hemmer won't have the visibility he had at CNN (at least initially), but I can envision him filling in on the morning programs, during daytime coverage and occasionally for Shep Smith. BTW, I heard MSNBC was offering him a slightly better deal, but Hemmer apparently decided to go with a winner instead of the #4 cable network.

Bill Hemmer seemed like a nice guy. He was replaced on CNN by that annoying hedgehog Miles O'Brien. Don't know if he is married to Soledad O'Brien, his morning anchor co-host.
