I found this article very interesting. I recently attended a talk where some folks that help organize the 'Orange Revolution' spoke. They talked about these very things, US/UK involvement, CIA and MI6 involvement, the poisoning, and Russia's involvement. I was surprised to see this in such an early article. Seems like it slipped under the radar.

I read about this several months ago.
That article said busloads of disruptors who were headed to the Ukraine were sort of hijacked and fed lots of liquor. They all got wasted - were loaded back into their buses and driven away from Ukraine.
It sounded kind of bizarre .. but whatever works. No shots were fired and nobody died - and the election was good the second time.
