Nagin should be prosecuted as well. Those were HIS buses sitting there. That was HIS plan to fill the Superdome, yet HE didn't stock it with food or water for four days.
THESE are HIS people. HE should face the death penalty.

LOL--and there are so many newly out-of-work NO lawyers!! What a hoot.
Yeah - I was watching that, and he went through the entire timeline from Bush's declaring a national emergency on the 27th (two days before the storm hit) to the Governors meeting with him on AF-1 and telling him to give her 24 hours before sending additional federal help.
I tried to take notes, but the gentleman was talking so fast. I got some of it. I was wondering if anyone might have an accurate timeline that they could post here for other FReepers to copy.
Blanco will get lesser fines and sentence than Sandy Burgler got. Dems will cover her.
When you say "legally liable" do you mean civil or criminal? I ask, because I don't think the so-called legal expert on Fox knows what he or she is talking about.
Oh yes there is. Their names are Hillary Clinton and Mary Landrieu.
Gee, How can we publicize this so the evacuees can take advantage of the situation and be on the upside for once?
I heard the other night the Lt Col Bill Cowan (ret) had some inside information from members of the LANG. Has he followed up on this?
1 - What's the name of this legal expert?
2 - I think what he said or meant to say was that the State of LA may be legally liabile because of actions of Blanco. Blanco herself has governmental immunity.
Just what is the "Law" (capital L)? I didn't realize they made brushes that broad to paint with.
Did you catch the consternation created in the hosts of Weekend Fox and Freinds?
she'll probably get a cabinet post
Even Chris Matthews on the Today show this morning said that President Bush did a better job last week than he did the first week and he will be perceived to have done a better job this coming week. He also said that the AP poll was based on the first week. Next week's poll the President will bounce back.
Thank God the truth is starting to come out and the libs are having to back track.
Funny, because the piece ran just after I suggested they seek out "the plan" and read it, to find out who is responsible. THis lawyer comes on, and I was gobsmacked at the direct and factual accounting of responsibility.
It's too bad that the facts of matter are buried in a sea of MSM lies. The honesty-piece is a drop in the bucket. As for the evacuation of the city of NOLA, one need look no father than this ...
Conduct of an actual evacuation will be the responsibility of the Mayor of New Orleans in coordination with the Director of the Office of Emergency Preparedness, and the OEP Shelter Coordinator....
The lead agency responsible for coordinating recovery operations following a natural or man made disaster is the Office of Emergency Preparedness.
Call me paranoid but I think that Mayor Moonbat and Gov. Dingbat are already carving up the old New Orleans maps and taking "bids" on development in the new New Orleans.
Babbling Blanco sux.
It was a pretty good timeline - and that's what we need access to, a good timeline. I wish I had a transcript (and I confess that I haven't read the whole thread yet, so one may be present).
