I have a few on my profile page. Feel free to copy them.

Among them is the one I just lifted from your tagline.

Why thank you! I talked with Bennett a few months ago to get his permission on using some of his material. He seems like a great guy - perhaps I'll try to get him scheduled to come to our small town someday.

Thanks - You have an interesting profile. I've been thinking of picking up the guitar again - it's been 33 years since I stopped playing. One of these days I'm going to see Keaggy live.

The one commonality they all had was a pre pubescent molestation event. I have always considered those events as having a role in the homosexual lifestyle choice.

I watched my grade school friend start hanging out with the weird older boys that hovered around us when we used to play at night. The next thing I knew he and another boy in class had "sex" with each other during a sleep over. He turned out to be "gay" and I know it was caused by the indoctrination from the older boys.

For me, today's youth, the next leaders of our country is of great concern; so I see this issue as one of the most radioactive issue confronting our nation today.

Speaking of youth -how about adoption. Here is a link to a document just in case you are unaware of it for the categorical listing:

No Basis: What the Studies Don’t Tell Us About Same-Sex Parenting

A 129 page Adobe Acrobat document (I assume it is all good; however, have not read it all yet):

Executive Summary

It is routinely asserted in courts, journals and the media that it makes “no difference” whether a child has a mother and a father, two fathers, or two mothers. Reference is often made to social-scientific studies that are claimed to have “demonstrated” this.

An objective analysis, however, demonstrates that there is no basis for this assertion. The studies on which such claims are based are all gravely deficient.

Robert Lerner, Ph.D., and Althea Nagai, Ph.D., professionals in the field of quantitative analysis, evaluated 49 empirical studies on same-sex (or homosexual) parenting.

The evaluation looks at how each study carries out six key research tasks: (1) formulating a hypothesis and research design; (2) controlling for unrelated effects; (3) measuring concepts (bias, reliability and validity); (4) sampling; (5) statistical testing; and (6) addressing the problem of false negatives (statistical power).

Each chapter of the evaluation describes and evaluates how the studies utilized one of these research steps. Along the way, Lerner and Nagai offer pointers for how future studies can be more competently done. Some major problems uncovered in the studies include the following:

Lerner and Nagai found at least one fatal research flaw in all fortynine studies. As a result, they conclude that no generalizations can reliably be made based on any of these studies. For these reasons the studies are no basis for good science or good public policy.

Four Appendices follow. Appendix 1 is a bibliography of the studies and related publications. Appendix 2 is a table that summarizes the evaluation of each of the studies with regard to each research step. Appendix 3 (by William C. Duncan) is an overview of how these studies have been used in the law. Appendix 4 (by Kristina Mirus) describes how the media has covered these studies.

Here's an op-ed piece against trying to help homosexuals change: Ministry's on a misguided mission to scare gay teens straight

I hope Stephen and Irene Bennet are successful with their show.

Thanks. I've read a number of similar articles lately. When a writer quotes somebody saying:
part of what reprogramming groups do is recruit some teens to harass others
they really demonstrate their bias. I don't know of any reputable group that recruits teens to harass gays. In fact I don't know of any group, reputable or not that recruits teens to harass gays. That's just a pathetic attempt to attack reorientation/reparative therapy groups.

I just listened to the broadcast ("A Heart for the Homosexual – Part 1")... I really hope this ministry does well because it's an excellent, much needed ministry.

Will it work on my dialup? I already asked that question, I'll shut up now and try it!

Anyone who doesn't have an antique 'net connection, listen up!

Just listend; if it works on my dialup it'll work on anyone's!

Very compassionate; it should touch the hearts of many. I hope they got a lot of listeners.

I'm not sure about equating all sins equally; IMO (from my reading and understanding) they are not all equal. Also depends on whether engaged in "proudly" or struggled against, whether habitual or fallen into on occasion, and so on.

I wish the best to the Bennetts and I hope that many, many people stuck in the "gay" life listen and take to heart their message. It's a message of help and hope, not condemnation or hate.

Glad to hear it worked!

Exactly. As I see it, that's the message Christians should try to communicate to homosexuals - complete change is completely possible.

I hope that many religious believers listen, it'll help them reach out to those locked in the "gay" life. Especially noteworthy was the "choice" issue, explained very well to those not familiar with the causes of homosexuality.

I thought the same. If we can get that message out, perhaps more folks could better understand issues surrounding how same-sex attraction develops.
