PRESS RELEASE: The 2008 Presidential Race's Tortoise
FOR FREEDOM-JUSTICE GROUP ^ | December 22, 2005 | David Rosenthal

Posted on 12/22/2005 2:02:19 PM PST by CHACHI

As you may already know, I have announced my candidacy for the presidency of the United States of America for 2008. The American Justice Party is not yet officially registered, which I expect to achieve shortly. I have never been a candidate for any elected office. And I have no professional political experience.

Why would a person of this type dare to run for the presidency, having what reasonably might be called a snowball's chance in hell of winning?

I simply wish to promote a series of principles and reforms that I am sure need to be promoted, that should be implemented in America for the good of all, though not all will see it that way, of course. I hope to win the election, and I intend to perform according to my stated principles, but I am not deluded with respect to my chances of winning.

I have been asked as to why I did not choose to run for a less exalted post as a first attempt. In no other post could I actually achieve the set goals than in that of the president. I have no desire to become a career politician but only to achieve certain goals for the nation. I have no desire to occupy a political post in which these goals would remain unreachable.

The Statement of Principles of the American Justice Party is available to anyone interested in reading it (soon to be available online). It is a frank exposition of the ideas that motivate my candidacy, though not a complete agenda, which will be forthcoming.

Although usually I do not take myself too seriously, I have seen that the reaction to my principles and goals is generally favorable, and it appears to me that others would be very gratified to see them implemented by our government. Unless I am mistaken, those who show this favorable reaction reflect a certain hopefulness or longing to see such things take place as I have suggested. And this hope I take seriously, as our government should be fulfilling its reason for being, rather than allowing conditions to decline.

I can be reached at 954-986-2772 and 954-593-2847.

Thank you for your attention.

"Without justice being freely, fully, and impartially administered, neither our persons, nor our rights, nor our property, can be protected. And if these, or either of them, are regulated by no certain laws, and are subject to no certain principles, and are held by no certain tenure, and are redressed, when violated, by no certain remedies, society fails of all its value; and men may as well return to a state of savage and barbarous independence." --Joseph Story

FROM CHACHI:
We support the candidacy of David Rosenthal. An honest, intelligent, and well educated individual of principles and respect for our Constitution and its Founders. Rosenthal personifies what U.S. citizens are longing for. He brings new meaning to the phrase By the People, For the People.
Rosenthal has the courage to confront and end corporate corruption; no more "political correctness".
It may sound as a dream come true, but we can make it reality if we all unite and give him the necessary exposure.
The power of the Internet is irrefutable, so let's not underestimate this campaign. We can take it to every corner and ultimately arrive triumphant in Washington, D.C. !!!

The Statement of Principles of the American Justice Party

Generally any party that puts the word "Justice" in their name is about anything else but......

Not to mention a party that pretty much exists only on message board.. glancing on their board and on a google search makes me think this is similar to the whole Republic of Texas movement.. talk a lot of values but really are just there for the fundraisers.

Yeah. But they're better at fundraising. He's just getting started emulating their model of cash for quixotic quests.

I have a problem with anyone who would risk diluting the conservative vote and not thinking strategically. We learned our lesson with Perot in 92.

Clarification. We learned our lesson with Perot in '96. He made the difference in that election too. Clinton would never have been elected in either year without the assistance of Perot.
