"In 1993, 74 law-abiding citizens, including their children, died in Waco, Texas, on her orders. Nine months earlier, at Ruby Ridge, Idaho, Randy Weaver's son and wife were killed by men following her commands. "

Wrong timeline. Reno killed the people in Waco on 4/19/93, yes, but 9 months earlier klyntyn wasn't even president yet let alone Reno AG.

Someone didn't do their homework.

Such a mistake means I'm not bothering to follow link to original article.

Sloppy.

I haven't been away and I haven't heard about anybody close to Reno talking. Something doesn't sound right.

The report seems to have fallen off the radar, if indeed it was ever on it.

It's too bad the anonymous author shoots himself in the foot by attributing the Ruby Ridge incident to Reno when it was clearly before her tenure.

The bigger mistake may be in accepting the conventional wisdom, going back to the day of the Waco massacre, that it was Reno's decision...she obviously took the blame to spare Bill Clinton (and was thereafter untouchable as long as he was in office), but who really decided to attack? Hillary would be my guess.

I consider Janet Reno to be the very epitome of evil.

Point well received, Ruf.

It's a good assumption that Reno made no decisions of her own during her 7+ years as AG and it's nearly certain that she was not the one who chose to issue orders to kill those people in that basement just 38 days after actually becoming AG.

Reno was a functionary. Culpable but not primarily responsible for the mass execution in Waco.

Yup.

Sloppy stuff like that is what du monkeys and other lesser liberal life forms sieze upon as "evidence" of our stupidity.

Libs will say we're wrong anyway- why give them ammo?

.

The 1st ever taken New York Times/CBS TV Poll showed that the majority of the American people DISAPPROVED of the CLINTON Administration's handling of the long standoff at Waco and were tired of hearing about it on their radios and TV's.

This TV Poll was known by the CLINTON White House ahead of time to be coming out on TV the very morning that HILLARY & RENO had therefore "Suddenly" decided would be the time for sending the tanks in on the Kids of Waco.

For...

'It's the TV, stupid, no matter WHO pays for it'

...has always been the CLINTON lifetime M.O.

Correct. Ruby Ridge went down on On August 22, 1992. Months before the election of x42.
The bigger mistake may be in accepting the conventional wisdom, going back to the day of the Waco massacre, that it was Reno's decision...she obviously took the blame to spare Bill Clinton
. . . and it wouldn't have been right to hit her, 'cause she's a girl and it wouldn't be nice. </sarcasm>

Any congressman can publish the full, unredacted report.

So far, nothing.

That is what Linda Tripp says and she was in the white House. Hillary is the indecisive genius that hems and haws and then sends in the storm troopers. See the same pattern in elian gonzales.
