Taxpayer Supported ANSWER Hates America - And Organized May Day Boycotts
Sweetness & Light ^ | May 2, 2006 | N/A

Posted on 05/02/2006 10:16:05 AM PDT by Sam Hill

Meet the people behind so many of the weekly Hate America rallies, including the recent illegal aliens rallies and the May Day boycott:

May 1 Boycott & LA Marches for Immigrant Rights
No Work! No School! Take To the Streets!

On May 1, stand up for immigrant rights. Join immigrants and supporters to make May 1 a national “day without an immigrant.” We will settle for nothing less than full amnesty and legalization for the millions of undocumented workers presently in the United States. Let’s show the government, corporations and politicians that a powerful, united peoples’ movement has the power to win Civil Rights, workers’ rights and make history. No Work! No School! No Business as usual!

The A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition, along with other pro-immigrant organizations, has been working hard to build May 1 and the overall immigrant right struggle. We've passed out over 150,000 flyers for May 1, gathered thousands of petition signatures demanding amnesty for all immigrants and held public street meetings all over Los Angeles to promote the movement. Join the struggle for full equality and justice today!

Demand Full Rights for Immigrants!
¡Exijo Derechos Plenos para los Inmigrantes!

Sign the Peoples Petition / Firme la Petición Popular

Legalization Now! ¡Legalización Ahora!

English: I demand full rights and equality for all immigrants living in the United States. Neoliberal economic policies targeting Latin America, like NAFTA and CAFTA, have pushed millions of people into abject poverty. Immigrants are forced to come to the U.S. to look for work. Nobody should be criminalized for attempting to survive. No human being is illegal. Racism against immigrants emanates from the same forces behind the U.S. war to conquer and control the wealth of Iraq.

Report on Anti-Minutemen Protest in Burbank

The People Drive Out the Racists! No Human Being is Illegal!

On Saturday, April 22, more than 100 pro-immigrant protestors, including dozens of A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition organizers and volunteers, squared off against the racist, anti-immigrant groups "Save Our State" and the "Minuteman Project." The progressives outnumbered the neo-fascists more than 2 to 1. "SOS" and the Minutemen were in Burbank in front of a Home Depot store to protest against a day laborer center and undocumented workers. As they shouted racist slogans, the multinational crowd of progressives chanted in English and Spanish in unison: "Racists go home!" and "Minutemen are racist, you are the terrorists!" Progressive signs and banners read "Amnistía! Full rights for all immigrants," "The workers struggle has no borders" and more, while the Minutemen carried hateful signs dubbing immigrants as "illegal" and depicting the pro-slavery Confederate flag.

During the action, the pro-immigrant protestors took over the street in front of Home Depot in a show of militant force. This was followed by a march around the area. The "SOS" and Minutemen fled in defeat a short time later while the pro-immigrant protestors took over the street corner that the racists had been occupying.

The people declared a victory over the racist forces in Burbank. Protestors and the day laborers at the site left with a positive feeling of unity and shared struggle against the right-wing criminals who seek to stop the immigrant struggle for full equality. The people united will never be defeated! El pueblo unido jamás será vencido! The anti-Minutemen protest was featured prominently on local television and print media outlets. Elsewhere ANSWER gives more reasons for their support of amnesty for illegal aliens:

Of course, as with the anti-war protests, ANSWER's signs were everywhere at all of these "spontaneous" rallies:

March 25 LA 3  March 25 LA aerial5

Some background on ANSWER, courtesy of Wikipedia:

ANSWER was established by the International Action Center (IAC), which was in turn founded by former United States attorney general Ramsey Clark and the Workers World Party.

The IAC and the WWP are of course both Communist organisations.

Discover The Networks has much more on their background and activities. But synopsizes them thusly:

International A.N.S.W.E.R. (often, simply ANSWER) is a front group for the Marxist-Leninist Workers World Party (WWP), which uses the anti-war movement as the vehicle by which it promotes Communist ideals and condemns American society, American foreign policy, and capitalism.

Please bear in mind that ANSWER is a taxpayer supported 501c3 "charity":

ANSWER is therefore prohibited by law from engaging in political campaigns and lobbying Congress. It is also prohibited from encouraging illegal activities.

But laws never seem to apply to those who hate America and who want to destroy our system of government.

I realize that much of this is already familiar material to many here, especially those who have been in the front lines counter-protesting ANSWER's constant rallies.

But it doesn't hurt to remember who we are dealing with. Professional protestors, who are for the most part Communists.

Isn't he the "Trial Lawyer" that is suing the world community for violating the civil rights of a duly elected leader , somewhere?

I didn't know ANSWER was taxpayer supported. That's something we need to remedy right now. Make it a privately funded organization.

LEGAL immigrants ALREADY have FULL EQUAL RIGHTS!!!!!

Why are the sheeple of America conned by the "immigrant" label that is being forced on us. This argument is about "ILLEGAL ALIENS", NOT legal immigrants. But it is like talking to a wall.

Why isn't Ramsey Clark in a Federal prison? Was he not a founder of this treasonous organization? Yet he hides behind the false assumption he is only defending the legal interest of the indefensible.

Do those behind the ‘in your face’ demonstrations know about the power of protest and persistence?

Do they believe we are going to capitulate when faced with a determined opponent? (When is the last time our citizens stood up loudly demanding the end to ‘Sanctuary City’ status, or other state and national outrages?).

Do they believe they have a chance with a President that calls the Minutemen 'vigilantes?

Do they believe our government is hardly any more resolute than the French government was with their Muslim or employment riots, despite opinion polls showing 88% of Americans demand serious immigration control?

Two themes presented by the TV outlets on the May 1st walkout were ‘Guest Worker’ demands, and ‘Citizenship/Voting’. Count on it. If they get their foot in the door over the first demand, the second will follow.

We received this warning 20 years ago from Senator Alan Simpson:

Americans are fed up with efforts to make them feel that [they] do not have that fundamental right of any people—to decide who will join them and help form the future country in which they and their posterity will live.

But if the elites and the advocates idea of giving voting rights to non-citizen majorities catches on—and don’t be surprised if it does - Americans could be faced with the ultimate absurdity of people outside the social compact making rules for those inside it."

A critic on TV a few weeks ago observed if citizens don’t WAKE UP NOW, reality will set in fully in about 20 years. The southwest will for practical purposes be an annex of Mexico. Then, the next step, with the power they will yield will be for SEPARIST demands. Remember QUEBEC?

As added emphasis to his point, Charles Krauthammer days later said the recent demonstrations are the movements 'COMING OUT PARTY' and the implications of their power simmering below the surface. We have two choices:

1> DEMAND ACTION from politicians at local, state and national levels.

2>

Exactly. That disproves their bogus claims "immigrants created America" - none of them were illegal gate-crashers.

Deport all illegals!!!

I've even been hearing of some illegals going all the way to Canada via the US...

I think that the term 'Illegal Immigrant", for these people is inappropriate. An immigrant is one who goes to a new country and adapts himself to the culture of that country. People who travel to a country and expect the people there to adopt their culture are invaders.
