Many people don't realize that the beginning of the end came as a result of his trusting in slick willie. Somehow slick willie worked a deal for Enron in India. After Enron spent billions....India decided they didn't want to participate and left Enron with billions of expenses and no hope of recovering those expenses.
A few trips that slick willie made to India were for the purpose of trying to convince India to get back into the deal.
