Media Bias: Need a little anti-war, anti-Semitic buck-up? Try some Reuters coverage. The British news outlet will be only too happy to oblige. Over the weekend, a Reuters photographer was caught trying to make one of Israel's defensive attacks against Hezbollah in Lebanon look much more devastating than it was. The photo was eventually withdrawn and the photographer ostensibly fired. The photo, an image of the aftermath of an Israeli airstrike in Beirut, had apparently been altered to give the effect that the smoke was thicker and the damage worse than it was. The doctored version, credited to Adnan Hajj, a freelance Lebanese photographer, shows two heavy plumes of smoke where there was in fact but one. Charles Johnson, whom we will return to later, is one of several bloggers who noted that some buildings were repeated in the altered photo as well. Reuters' explanation? "Photo editing software was improperly used on this image. . . . We are sorry for any inconvenience." An apology to clients is nice. But what about an apology to Israel for employing staff members who are trying to inflame world opinion against a nation that is already globally hated?

If "propaganda" is weapon of war, then the MSM stands guilty of sustained and repeated attacks upon America.

Not much new here, but yesterday's Dilbert comic was nicely fitting.

I'd say there's plenty of verifiable evidence to declare several media outlets Enemy Collaborators!

>Photo editing software was improperly used on this image.<
Thus when we use it properly, we won't get caught. :)
The disturbing make believe photos from this disturbing make believe event are shown below. Dont allow children under the age of 30 to view this horror caused by Israel. Of course, this is Bush's fault.
No Problem! Here comes your Bomb!
The persistent effort to extemporize legitimacy for Hezbollah, and demonize Israel is incredulous and delusional. Terrorists such as Hammas, al Qaida, and Hezbollah are not insurgents or freedom fighters, and when captured, certainly not prisoners of war. They are not armed forces, militias, or volunteer corps of any country or authority. These killers are not members of an organized resistance movement carrying arms openly, and they have no distinctive identifier. By Geneva Convention they are even ineligible for the summary trials and executions graciously afforded spies and saboteurs, who covertly destroy infrastructure, industrial capacity, and armed forces used to wage war.
Fabricated orthodoxy for Hezbollah disregards their exclusive responsibility for civilian deaths occurring when hiding among or thrusting forward, instead of removing from danger, Protected Persons as defined by Geneva Convention. Civilians become biodegradable sandbags to sustain terrorist sanctuaries and operations, and in death serve as theatrical props duping a gullible public in a public relations campaign.
By intent focus on mutilation and murder of civilians, including their own tribes and families, terrorists most nearly reflect definitions of a cancer or virus, which brings fatal malignancy and disease to adjacent living organisms and itself. By treating terrorists as legitimate authorities, apologists and supporters, whether media, political parties, or countries, promote an allegorical biological war against a billion people of Muslim faith, and billions more terrorists ghoulish heresies consider sub-human, permissible objects for slaughter.
