Those warm-hearted, feeling, sensitive souls of the liberal media are at it again. In a cartoon that this morning's Los Angeles Times found fit for publication, Jeff Danziger indulges his fantasy of a group of police and military unleashing a fusillade at Ann Coulter. He even manages to work in a bit of catty sexism, suggesting that the object of his apparent hatred is a bottle blonde.
Let's play one of our favorite games: 'Imagine.' Imagine that a conservative columnist had drawn a cartoon depicting a liberal woman icon as the target of a hail of police and military bullets.
Enter our NewsBusters pool: how long would it be till NOW threw up a picket line and called for a boycott? How many self-righteously outraged editorials and op-eds would we have to endure? Sample line: "This despicable gesture amounts to an invitation to violence against women, debasing our nation's political conversation. It is further evidence, if such was needed, that for the right-wing, political differences can and should be resolved by resort to arms, etc."
Shall we hold our breath for MSM condemnation of the Danziger cartoon?

Interesting. Criticizing a judge creates an "atmosphere of violence." Rush Limbaugh caused the Oklahoma City bombing. But this is just fine.

No condemnation from the MSM, not one critical word, but there will be more than a few engorged liberals and leftists who will be giddy at Danziger's liddle fantasy.
This should not surprise anyone.
Actually, Ann Coulter is a gun owner who knows how to handle herself in a situation.
Any stupid liberals fantasizing about taking a pot shot at her should think about how they'd feel with some instant ventilation as a result of her quick reflexes.
There, that's MY fantasy! :)
Jeff Danziger made a vile, disgusting, subhuman, hate-filled attack on a woman simply because she has the courage to disagree with his pro-terrorist, pro-Nazi, pro-baby-killing views.
I feel a lot better after writing that, but what would be even better would be for Danziger himself to read that so he has to take it as well as dish it out.
And for the self-hating hysterics who think that's "sinking to DU level," get it through your wooden heads that A) a homeowner who shoots an armed intruder in self-defense is not "sinking to DU level" even if he and the intruder are both engaged in the same activity (shooting) and B) Danziger threatened death to Ann Coulter, while I never threatened death to him.
If any of the self-hating "conservatives" give you trouble over that and start screaming that we're "sinking to DU level," just tell 'em to look at my post #6. :-)

It was only a few months ago when Dr. Rice was offensively caricatured in cartoons by both Jeff Danzinger, who sketched Rice as a semi-literate mammy, and Ted Rall, whose illustration referred to Rice as Bush's "House Nigga".
Police look like fat slobs and the military, like beady-eyed fanatics.
That cannot be a coincidence, but in fact Danziger's prejudice writ large.

As an aside, I found this while doing a little due diligence on Danziger.
WHERE I found it, was at one of my "favorite" sites, the VIETNAM VETERANS AGAINST WAR, who are to this day, practicing the same kind and types of activities, they (and their former leader/mentor, John "The Snake" Kerry)were engaged in during the 60's/70's.
Danziger is becoming a whiney old bore.
