Prayin' Joe: Biden Claims 3x in FNC Interview To Be 'Praying'

If once is an aberration, and twice a trend, what's three times?

The first time Joe Biden told Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace that he was "praying," it got my attention. By the third time - using the variant "I pray to God" - I was thoroughly curious. Then something happened at the end of the interview that might explain Joe's sudden bout of religiosity.

By the way, Biden claimed to be 'praying' in response to various pieces of evidence that Wallace confronted him with suggesting that, at long last, the security situation in Iraq might be improving. Biden repeatedly claimed to be 'praying' that Wallace was right, all the time suggesting that in fact there was no real reason for optimism.

So, what provided the clue? As the interview started to draw to a close, Wallace alluded to the fact that Biden was conducting the interview from . . . South Carolina, where he is laying the groundwork for his eventual Dem presidential primary run.

That Biden needs an image alteration was brought home by Wallace's question, as to how a "Northeast liberal" like Biden could compete in a primary with southerners like Mark Warner in a conservative southern state like South Carolina. I have a feeling Biden figured letting people know he's doing a whole lot of prayin' might be a good start.

An aside: to further distance himself from the "Northeast liberal" millstone that Wallace hung around his neck, Biden took pains to point out that not only had his home state of Delaware been a border state, but indeed "a slave state." Seemed a strange way for Joe to establish his southern street cred.

God forbid (and help us all) that a "prayin" or any other version of the plagiarist Biden gains the WH.

Joe Biden is endorsing a religion. He is seducing young minds into revolting against their parents wishes to become religous with his words and actions. This must be stopped at all cost.... </sarcasm>

Sounds just like the arguments ACLU uses when a republican speaks of prayer or if they notice a cross on something traditional.

I pray that holy rollin' Joe can get a brain.

The defeatocrats think they can sucker people into voting for them by using theological terminology or saying "I pray." They don't realize that religious people care about their values, which are unarguably secular. So the holy roller can pray all he wants, he's not getting my vote.

An excellent link that shows how Biden plagiarized other people's stuff:

Oh, I see. So Biden is appealing to all those redneck Christian hicks that still long for the old days when people knew their place?

Unbelieveable.

I know that's what they think of Southerners, but plagerizers like Biden pride themselves on their intelligence. What great intellect would make such a damning condemnation of people in the South and not even recognize they'd done it?

And once again the fools don't get it. You don't have to profess the same Faith in Christ to get the support of Christians. In the political arena most of us are issue oriented. It's nice if someone is a Christian, but not a necessity.

So, Biden, are you going to join to demand R v W be stricken as law by command of the "High Court"? Are you going to support Judges that would overturn it based on its faulty legal merit enthusiastically? Are you going to vote to protect marriage? Are you going to do battle with the ACLU? Are you going to support school vouchers? Inquiring minds and all that want to know.

Even if nobody prayed, Joe has NO chance. Remember, this POS has a big ego to feed so announcing he's running for President is like a cocaine addict making a big crack deal.

Don't worry about Joe. He can pray all he wants and maybe his hair plugs will look good from the side, but he will always be an idiot. He won't break into double digits in the Chasing Hillary Derby.

Chris Wallace is a helpful guy, who used his nicest manners as he let Biden trip over his own words.

Biden reminded me of a shrew I once saw, which was caught in one of those glue traps.

A new word or just 'word of the month' for another lying demrat. . .

Biden knows; like so many other of his ilk; that he is on sacred ground here; and therefore free from attack.

Altruism/patriotism offers them safe-haven as well.
