13 million viewers is pretty good if you ask me.

"The Lewinsky thing is a noose around his neck."

His neck? Try a little bit further south.

At some point, the directors of this film should sue the Clinton crime family for their slander.

It may have only been watched by 12,000,000 people, but I'll bet the folks who watched it are a lot more informed now than before it was shown. The press has been all over this one and has generated a lot of heat for Billy and the boys! I think it is great.

Another scene in the critics' cut showed O'Neill asking Clarke on the telephone: "What's Clinton going to do (about bin Laden)?"

Clarke replies, "I don't know. The Lewinsky thing is a noose around his neck."

This was cut entirely from the film that aired Sunday.

And just how was that susceptible to a lawsuit?

"If people blame Bill Clinton after seeing this, then the miniseries has failed," said Kean, the former Republican New Jersey governor. "That's wrong and it shouldn't happen."

Nice to have the GOP running investigations isn't it ?

Freepers have plenty of pics to share:

"Are ya glad to see me again or is that a gun in your pants? "
"That chick on my left? I dunno, want me to bring her next time? "

"... ABC and its parent, The Walt Disney Co., "chose fiction over fact and entertainment over education in airing their TV show."

Imagine that! An entertainment company actually choosing (**gasp**) entertainment.

Clinton's lucky we never saw the "Willy the Harasser" docu-drama. Juanita, Katherine (and her cat), Paula, Monica, etc.

It's not like they don't have enough for a script. It's just that anyone honest enough to do it is already repulsed by the thought of it.

Newsmax outright plagiarized from the AP story on this, stealing entire lines.

In any event, the way they left it looks worse than the original since the Republicans do not get blamed for distracting Clinton like in the original. All Clark says is he was assured it would not be a distraction, and we also see Billy waving his finger.

Hardly a "watering down."

"Of a fictionalized drama version of Sept. 11 or the Manning brothers playing football against one another, he chose the latter."

Sounds like his presidency. Golf, anyone?

"In the critics' version, that statement is followed directly by archival footage of Clinton's video testimony about his relationship with Monica Lewinsky. Sunday, that footage was not included. "

That footage ran last night. Saw it myself.

"He made the choice that most Americans made," said Jay Carson, Clinton Foundation spokesman. "Of a fictionalized drama version of Sept. 11 or the Manning brothers playing football against one another, he chose the latter."

Doesn't that just sum it up anyway... I find this quote offensive on several levels; the first being the condenscending tone taken towards those who watched the Path to 9/11, as though they are "stupid" because clearly, the smart informed people chose football.

Secondly, doesn't it seem to trivialize September 11? It's not as important as football. He throws a hissy fit about something he's not even going to watch anyway? And... 9/11 (which was on CBS and I own personally) and could be considered even by Klintoon as nonfictionalized... was on... but he didn't even give that a thought.
I'm just surprised the US wasn't attacked with more force while he was in office.

Well he had one helluva lot to say about it last week...

But its good to know in these everchanging times that some things are constant: clintoon is still an a$$hole.

I feel better knowing that....

:]

"As for Clinton, he didn't bother watching the movie that angered so many people who once worked for him."

"I'm confused. Clinton wrote a four page letter to ABC criticizing them for airing a movie that Clinton has not seen?"

Didn't hear a bit of complaining from Liberals over Farenheit 911 by that slob Michael Moore, but the Dims suuuuuuuurrrre don't like it when the shoe's on the other foot.

Gotta tell you, I'm flat eating this up...nothing like scourging an entire party by their own tactics.

Keep crying, Libs, you're making my month.

:-)
