The title of this article should have undoubtedly been rephrased. "Terrorists from Balkans could reach into Western Europe" would have been a better choice.
But then again, many Western Europeans don't really consider Eastern Europe to be "Europe", anyway. They have been treating the Balkans, for a while now, as though it were somewhere in Africa that couldn't survive without Bwana's help. So perhaps, to them, the title is appropriate.
I always figured they were using the term Europe to mean "European Union" now. Like the country of "Europe". Everything else is just no-man's land.
