I love this. Will be a constant reminder to kids that Democrats are the Party of Evil and home of the National Nanny.

YES!

Wow, this will add to his great legacy. Along with school uniforms, midnight basketball and hunting down terrorist with lawyers. What a genius.

Candy is not prohibited in her school, there are no vending machines, but most teachers have it in the classrooms, it's available in the cafeteria at lunch, and from the school "store."

I only used the Snickers name because it was in the article. The only time they are in this house is if my husband buys them, I can't stand them. I buy Milky Ways, Kit Kats, and Butterfingers most of the time....and always in 10 packs at the Dollar store :) They're bigger than the "funsize" but smaller than a standard one, and I find them to be just the right size.

Yep, he certainly has done more than enough to merit a long sentence. But does anyone have the guts to prosecute him? Why is he above the law?

To paraphrase Mark Levin on his radio show today, Clinton thinks he is doing great work to stop the "obesity epidemic." But he's never done a thing to stop the spread of syphilis!

I don't know. The man is as slimy as a snake, and twice as slippery, it would seem. I'd love to see him get his just desserts.

My understanding is that the schools that had coke and pepsi vending machines were paid thousands of dollars from those companies to have those machines. I am assuming Frito Lay and the candy distributors would have also paid $$$ to allow the vending machines to be in the schools. Question is, if this is true, how in the world are the school districts going to make up that money?

I feel sorry, not for me, but for our kids.

But what do you expect from a guy who was quoted as saying "America is all about reducing teen smoking"...

Meanwhile he was shoving a cigar in Monica Lewinsky's "hey, nanny, nanner" while working for US, with our tax dollars, in the Oval Office.

The root problem, IMO, is government ownership of schools.
