Yeah, but Bush could still address the nation and go on record with these documents and at least put the truth out there for the American public. He could, but I bet he won't. Anybody want to take a stab at the explanation of why Bush probably won't do this?

The truth is being put out there for us- but because the gov is short on translators and would face nothing but delay in getting these out, it was decided to speed up the job by bypassing government translators and just let Arabic-speaking Americans take a shot at it. Even so it still takes time, and the administration will have to wait for the translations and take a look at people's work before they can comment on it. The best thing about this is the gov will be able to compare translations from various people to those they are getting from their own hirees and that way check for accuracy.

It truly is the biggest mystery of his presidency! JV...thanks for all you do! Maybe someone could help you put this in a book one day, so that it can be part of the historical record at least!
