Showing some conservative, American concern about our borders and our soverignty, eh? He will certainly be person non grata at the White House....well, at least it sounds good. Unfortunately, he is a long way away from the Oval Office in more ways than one.

That's almost enough to make me want to vote for him.

As opposed to removing all fences and granting amnesty like Rudy?

What a novel idea!

That is a promise that would resonate with most Americans. Let us pray that they hear it and remember the name.

Of course on the big stage of the Rush Limbaugh today, the pale conservative in as guest-host dismissed our DH with a trite "He's not qualified to be president". Not helpful with Rush's huge audience. Not helpful at all.

If Hunter's CV does not qualify him for CIC, than whose does?

Who the hell was hosting for Rush? What a moron.

Big media will never, ever, allow his candidacy to see the light of day.

Forget it.

Our choices in '08 are limited to McCain, Rudy, Romney, Hillary, Edwards, Obama, and probably Gore.

That's it.

If everyone would vote for him that believe he is unelectable, Hunter would win in a landslide!

That was Mark Belling. He was struggling with Rudy for president and prolife beliefs. Real sickening listening to him. What a bore!

In January of 1980 the same doomsayers were saying that Reagan had no chance after losing the Iowa Caucus. New Hampshire sure turned things around fast.

***Are you just being a realist or is that how you actually want it to be?

All DH really needs is exposure. And George Bush could give that to him in less than one hour. Duncan Hunter could instantly become as well known as Hillary if President Bush asked VP Cheney to resign for health reasons and nominated Duncan.

Would you still support Duncan Hunter if he suddenly were in the media spotlight and was considered "electable"? If he were given the nod for VP by Bush today, would you support him for Pres?

I have no doubts that Hillary will end the war in Iraq....and bring it home with us.

Reagan was a man of his time and the times were right for Reagan.

Get over it. Vote for Hunter but you'll have a different choice come the general election.

Paraphrasing Ann Coulter: "Electable" gives us Ford, Dole, Arnie. Voting for the right wing kook gives us Ronnie.
