Example of bias in a poll.
Why 1 "yes" and 2 "no" answer choices?
Did they want the outcome to be, "Yes"?
This is an MSNBC poll. They know better, they are paid to consider carefully what they write - and he polls they put up.
SURVEY
Should Imus be punished for his comments?
Yes, it was very insensitive
No, he's free to say what he wants
No, it's his job to say outrageous things
Not sure
The results so far.

Thanks for taking part in this informal survey on WNBC.com.
The link is misattributed — it’s on WNBC, not MSNBC.
Has ABC put up a poll on Rosie O’Donnell being kept on the View yet?
Imus is just a shock-jock.....
....this time he gave a gift-horse to Rev. Al & the Pimps.
Maybe Imus will start making Hip-Hop now, LOL.
Both of their ratings have been good... so don’t expect them to be fired by their networks. Imus has every right to say what he wants... but his continued employment by MSNBC shows that they approve of his behavior... same goes for the traitorous dyke on ABC.
In other words, roughly 2 to 1 in favor of Imus. Good.
I agree. I don’t watch him much but his format is purely entertainment. He would do the show naked if it would boost his ratings.
They specialize in polls that are biased. How is a “denier” supposed to vote inthe latest poll:
Is there now permanent momentum behind the battle to fight global warming?
Yes
No
Not sure
OK. Would you prefer the following?:
Yes, it was very insensitive
Yes, he's free to say what he wants but this crosses the line.
No, he's free to say whatever he wants
No, it's his job to say outrageous things
Not sure
THAT would be looking for a "yes" answer.
I don’t know why, but the font you chose really added something to your post. :-)
THAT would be looking for a "yes" answer.
No, no, no, no, no. You don't understand. Put 1 yes and 2 "no" answers and the "no" votes are split, giving advantage to the "yes" vote.
I'm commenting on the construction of the poll, not the subject of it. Perhaps I was not clear on that.
I understand. I think the construction does the opposite -- the voter has more resons to say "no".
