Interesting,.... we’ll see if there’s anything from the official FRWN sources on this in the next 48 hours. The Old media has made a lot of reports like this yet there has been nothing come of it or any verification from the FRWN news sources.
We’ll see.
Hopes and prayers for their safe return.
I hope so. There was an earlier post (maybe pulled now) that the bodies of two of them had been found in an orchard around there. That story is apparently out on the Arab blogs and media. So I think it was probably a lie, meant to undermine morale, and this was issued as a correction.
I also read a story (no idea if it was true) that the locals misdirected a search team so they dug up some local Iraqis who had been buried in a field.
This kind of business always breeds rumors.
The thread should have been pulled, but it is still up. Not sure why they allowed Jihadist propaganda.
Yeah that one. I hit the abuse button on it twice, but nothing had happened to it.
Or wishful raghead thinking.
Prayer for Prisoners of War
Lord, I bring before you now our soldiers who have been captured, and ask that You would uphold them with Your right hand.Be their rock in the midst of uncertainty and their light in the midst of darkness. Guard their hearts from fear and strengthen them according to Your Word. Cause them Lord, to lie down and sleep in peace for You alone are their safety.
Surround them Lord with Your favor as a shield. Soften the hearts of those who watch over them and cause them to show compassion and mercy. Keep the hearts of our soldiers filled with hope, and guard them from despair.Be near to them Lord, for Your nearness is their good, and bring them back safely to their families. In Jesus mighty name, Amen.
This guy is now without a question a dead-man walking....He will be made an example of -
I continue to pray I was wrong about there having been a very remote chance of our guys being taken alive - There was always a slim chance of being knocked unconscious....or incapacitated.....
That this guy hasn't made a drop (for $$) or hasn't leaked out a vid from a third source......does give us reason for hope (if we have some type of proof of life).
ping
AMEN
Amen.
TANKS for the ping,,,I’ve only gotten a snip here and there today,,,FOX reported the guy’s body-armor was found,,
the first day,,,
If the general knows who did the dirty deed, then what is he doing about them?
If it turns out Iran was behind it are we STILL going to let them slide?
Iran is killing our military heros and NOTHING gets done.
That’s B.S.,
But then hey, it’s a political war and President Bush and congress are busy giving illegals amnesty and Bush is working on a f-ing legacy now too.
The other thing I have noticed is that it really seems they want us to stop looking for these guys. I think it’s letting us get too close to other things they want to hide. So it’s quite possible that two bodies were found there (although none of ours), and they announced it on various Arab sites because they want us to give up and quit looking for the soldiers.
Remember earlier in the week when AQ “warned” us to stop looking for them?

COALITION FORCES DETAIN NINE IN SEARCH FOR MISSING SOLDIERS
BAGHDAD, Iraq Coalition Forces detained 11 individuals during operations Friday and Saturday, including nine suspected of involvement in the May 12 kidnapping of three U.S. Soldiers.
Coalition Forces continued to follow tips and information leads in the disappearance of three U.S. Soldiers, raiding a building near Amiriyah Saturday morning. During the raid, Coalition Forces detained nine individuals suspected of involvement in the kidnappings.
Friday, intelligence reports led Coalition Forces to a site in Baqubah where they detained two individuals allegedly associated with the command network of al-Qaeda in Iraq.
In other operations Saturday morning, Coalition Forces discovered two weapons caches. One cache south of Baghdad contained weapons, magazines and assault vests, and another northeast of Habbiniyah housed eight rockets. The weapons were safely destroyed on site.
We will not stop searching until we find our Soldiers, said Lt. Col. Christopher Garver, MNF-I spokesperson. Were using all available assets and continuing to assault the al-Qaeda in Iraq network.
