At least 175 people were killed when three suicide bombers driving fuel tankers attacked a northern Iraqi town which is home to an ancient minority sect, in one of the worst single incidents in the four-year-old war.
Iraqi army Captain Mohammad al-Jaad said at least another 200 people were wounded in the bombings in separate Yazidi neighbourhoods in the town of Kahtaniya, west of Mosul.
Police say it appeared three bombers driving separate tankers attacked Yazidi sect members in different neighbourhoods in Mosul, 390 kilometres north of Baghdad, detonating their vehicles in quick succession.
Yazidis are members of a pre-Islamic Kurdish sect and live in northern Iraq and Syria.
Yazidis in Iraq say they have faced discrimination because the chief angel they venerate as a manifestation of God is often identified as the fallen angel Satan in biblical terminology.
Yazidis say they suffered massacres during the secular rule of Saddam Hussein.

Unfortunately for Yazidis, in the other revealed religions, the chief of the angels was cast out of heaven and was known as Lucifer — which gave rise to the claim the Yazidis worship the devil — something they hotly dispute.
Their mythology says they are descended only from Adam, because his immaculately conceived son ( named Jar because the myth siad he was born of Adams seed only kept in a sacred vessel and conceived with God) mated with a Houri ( angelic virgin) to be the prodginators of their race.
Hardly Islamic. The Yazidis also like the USA and Israel. They can be extreme in the preservation of their caste system, just like Democrats are who kill people like Vince Foster.

Looks like some kind of plagiarism by someone who never got the real story and then started to improvise. Not very original, in my opinion.
The victims were Yazidis, a pre-Islamic religion among some Kurds. They are enemies of Islam since the beginning.
They’re scared of addressing this issue or they wish to wait so they too can help chop off our heads.
