Screw the pickup. Either announce that you’re running or step aside. This coy act is extremely old and annoying. I was a Fred! guy, but I’m sick of this. This isn’t a game, Mr. Thompson. Run or get the hell out of the way.

He wanted people to beg him to run, and they begged. He wanted time to get a staff together, and he has. Do it, or go away.

We don’t need gimmicks with prospect of the Beast B!tch and the Perv taking up residents at PA Avenue.

Fresh ideas are what the electorate needs. Fred can deliver without the prop’s.

Doesn't Tom Tancredo already drive a red pickup while campaigning?

Anyway, if Fred's numbers take off as expected, it will be kind of silly to have a little red pickup truck with Fred and two Secret Service agents in it and black SUVs with more security ahead of him and behind him as well as a caravan of campaign staff.

Buy a bus or two. Far more practical.

He should do well if the red truck works will run for a few blocks, enough folks are taken in by it, and his Mercedes is parked around the corner.

Janet Reno used one in her electio bids.

How many OTHER candidates use a red pickup?

I’m more interested in what policy he has to offer than in what he drives. I could care less what he shows up in.

I am thinking he has just about gone too long on his "declaration".....I am getting sick of hearing about him "going to" announce anyday now....
