I had some hope that Abizaid would actually be successful leading the fight in a Muzzie war....from this public comment as well as his real failure in Iraq indicates to me that he is just another CYA retired general who dishonors himself and our military with these off hand comments.

Yeah, and there were plenty of Germans who weren't Nazis, too... but we still had to fight them, and kill many non-military citizens.
Hopefully, we'll still have the will to do it again, when necessary.
