I asked
jveritas to translate the text:
Mr. President The leader the Moujahed Saddam Hussein, God protects and shepherd him
The emblem says: Allah protects Iraq and Saddam
As jveritas noted "a picture is stronger than words".
Note also that these two things: 1) As far as I remember (I haven't looked for the reference) this painting was found in a campus connected to an air force school. 2) In one of the documents jveritas translated the authorities were looking for pilot "mujaheedins". The document was pre-911, and it was considered by those who know such things that it was directed against Israel. But are we really sure? No real evidence, but enough to make you wonder.

That picture does seem a bit too convient to discount as bluster.

Ask the families of 50,000 nerve-gassed Kurds if they think Saddam had WMDs.

I tried to reply but FR went down for a bit the other day. Any fair minded individual presented with the vast amount of info available would have to conclude Iraq under the Saddam regime was determined to continue many of the known wmd programs.
It is sort of like beating upon a dead horse in respect of trying to somehow re-prove Saddam's intentions.
The horse is dead. Saddam and his regime are simply guilty as charged.
As to why this administration has been so willy nilly in protecting it's stance, regardless of how badly certain elements within the intel and state institutions, during this twenty year time frame have (past/present tense), been able to throw curve balls, I guess the jury is still out.
Perhaps in the end, GWB was adviced not to get into to many cat fights with the left and the L/MSM. He has/had stated his reasons (many, including UN resolutions), to justify what he decided to do with the Butcher and his regime.
If the political climate had not been so twisted and cagey over the past eight years, none of this would even be an issue. So much of this stuff has been made public over a period of time for anyone with any ambition (private level, or official) to understand Saddam was a very dangerous man in many respects and did represent a distinct threat to the regions stability as well as to a high potential to aid terrorist groups in carrying out diabolical mass killings against many western states.

Outstanding read. I waited until today to read the pdf. It pretty much covers the whole issue. I wonder why President Bush doesn’t go through this in public. He certainly has nothing to lose or fear. Perhaps the embarrassment to various incompetent officials like Negroponte would reflect badly on him.
This pretty much closes up the WMD issue for Iraq as far as I am concerned. The outcome is pretty much what I expected and what has been rumored since 2003—the WMD’s went to Syria.
The one remaining loose end is what happened to the contents of the underground storage facility under the Euphrates.

Thanks.
“The one remaining loose end is what happened to the contents of the underground storage facility under the Euphrates.”
That and did the Israelis obliterate all the stuff that went up north in Syria.

The propaganda machine of the left has totally convinced the masses that there were NO WMDs in Iraq. Sorry to say that it won’t matter what proof to the contrary shows up. It will be buried by the media and laughed at by the imbeciles on the left.reality matters little these days and we all know it .

There are a lot of idiot newbie political people who Also believe the lie that the liberal media has told the nation - that ‘Bush Lied and People Died.’ These people who just started getting involved in politics - some of them Tea Party people - are so full of hatred toward Bush - it is disgusting that they believe the lies of the Left! And they will not listen to even this new news.
