HAMPTON, N.H., Jan. 6 -- Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, slipping further behind her chief rival in the Democratic primary here, has taken direct control over her strategy and message as she scrambles to block the ascent of Sen. Barack Obama.
-snip-
In an unscheduled conference call with senior aides on Sunday morning, Hillary Clinton took what her advisers described as an unprecedented level of control over the direction of the daily message -- issuing orders rather than soliciting advice. According to one participant in the call, Clinton did not explicitly relieve any advisers of responsibilities, but made it clear that she intended to reorient her campaign toward sharpening her differences with Obama on the trail.

Hillary is a control freak, how can she take more control of something she already controls totally??
Kevlar for all...
Oh, I hope she gets SHRILL and NASTY.
I want people to see how badly she stands up to pressure.
This should be fun to watch!!!!
But. . but . . this was supposed to be a coronation! . . supposed to be just a formality with all the other candidates being lackluster up side Hillary . . this was supposed to be an inevitability . . but . . but . . sputter . . !
Fun to watch??? Yep!!
But are you ready for President Obama????????
Edwards is in full poutyface mode to boot!
Obama is gonna get his ass ripped. He is a lightweight contender. The lightest of all the Dems
Oh please! He give me the creeps!
I really want Edwards to take the lead for the Democrats - he’s a loser.
Maybe this is the “inevitable” sputter on the way to the Coronation?
I am starting to think Barack may be a bit tougher nut to crack in 08, the nutroots will be behind the guy and mortgaging homes to donate to him...
Our souces (moi) said she rolled out a map...of Marcy Park!! :-)
To be honest, I’m rooting for Hillary. I really hope she can pull this off and get the Democratic nomination. I would infinitely rather the Republican nominee face Hillary than Obama—she’s much easier to defeat.
As she begins to micromanage her campaign, it will get worse and worse. She probably believes that she is the world’s smartest woman, and will not stop to question anything that comes into her head because time is too short and she is too arrogant.
America’s ex-wife is taking over the reconstruction project on her campaign, and boy, is she ever going to screw it up! I so look forward to watching this. She may get the nomination due to the superdelegates, and that will make things even worse within the party. And she will not have a clue.
Sheesh! Well, it will make for good television and good FReeping. :-D
In MSM spin terms, this means she wasn’t responsible for recent defeats.
If you read the leftist blogs, like KOS or Huffington, the storm of outright RACISM and HATRED being released is uuterly astounding...
These are comments from KOS alone in regard to OBAMA, from the last 24 hours:
“Children’s Crusade”
“Happy Talk, Hope, and Fairy Dust Don’t Win Elections”
“You Don’t Bring “Kumbaya” To A Gunfight”
“Campaign of False Hopes”
“Homophobe”
“Muslem”
“Coke-User”
“Aldulterer”
“Dirty”
Watching the Democratic Party rip it’s own throat out is a simple pleasure, and we ALL knew it would eventually come to this.
Now she’ll blow her top.
I actually think Hillary is the easiest to beat, then Edwards. The hardest will be Obama. The press will tout him as the 2nd coming of JFK and his beautiful young family fills that ticket well. The German press is all agape with JKF comparisons to JFK. His relative youth and vigor will play into that, too.
Our only hope is that they damage each other so much ala the Democrats have in the past (Dukakis, Kerry) that we don't necessarily "beat" them but the American people simply don't show up to vote for them. A slim hope, but more than I had two months ago.
Must means she bought glass ash trays to bounce off bills head. LOL
I would give anything to hear the names she called Obama, after Iowa, when there was no one to report what she said. I bet she turned the air blue, Mother++++ this and mother++++ that and he was a low down , etc, etc. Bet if wasn't PC ...
