HILL TRAILING AND FLAILING; DESPERATE CAMPAIGN GOES ON LAST-DITCH ATTACK (anti-Hill vote explodes)
NY POST ^ | January 7, 2008 | GEOFF EARLE with Carl Campanile and Kenneth Lovett in New Hampshire

ASK ME IF I SCARE: Clinton is startled by the noise of her megaphone at a campaign appearance in Manchester, NH.

NASHUA, NH ......trailing by as much as 13 points, Clinton went on a rampage against Obama -- ripping him as all talk and no action and blasting his votes on everything from Iraq to ethics in a slash-and-burn effort to deny him a victory here. With her game face on, Clinton hit the warpath by saying the country needs a "doer, not a talker"..........

Hillary's flop is due to the fact that not only is she unlikeable but her dimming chances are compounded by the fact that she is one of the most hated persons in America. Moreover, the women voters she's appealing to (as her best chance to win office) do not seem to want to see her become president.

ADDED BONUS: Giuliani's been promoting himself as the "only candidate" that can beat Hillary. But when he had the change to show his stuff and beat her in the New York Senate race, Giuliani backed out. He always uses the "cancer" excuse when it has been shown he was not incapacitated by cancer---then or now---and was very active within days after claiming he was a cancer victim.

FReeper calcowgirl did the research; on Sept 2007 she posted her findings: Rudy claimed it was cancer, but was up and working almost immediately after quitting the race. To those playin' violins about his debilitating cancer and the chemo treatment, here are excerpts from news reports that tell the real story: Rudy had radioactive seed implantation on September 15 and was up on his feet in a day. There was no chemo. He missed a day or two of work and within a week he had marched in a parade, presided over a town hall-style meeting, gone on the stump for Lazio, and conducted daily press conferences, including one pushing a $1 Billion taxpayer subsidized stadium in Manhattan's West Side after holding meetings with both the Yankees and Jets owners that week. Back in May, 2000, when he dropped out a mere 11 days before the State Convention where he was to be nominated leaving the GOP high and dry (with no other choice but to recruit Lazio), the doctors said they thought campaigning was perfectly within his physical capabilities and, if he started treatment right way, he would have recovered and been "full speed" by the time the campaign normally kicked in. Instead, he delayed that procedure until September. IMO, Rudy dropped out because a) he knew he was going to get his arse whooped and b) he had a better $$$offer$$$.

I really think the Oprah factor cannot be underestimated. it tore at the very heart of Hillary’s base.

Besides Payola People or those fearful of Ft. Marcy Park,...what other base does she have?

WaPo has this MUST-SEE video that doesn't bode well for Clinton:

Washington Post's Video: many people got bored and left at a Hillary's rally

The video is 3:43 minutes long. But starting at the 2:00 minute mark, you can see that the crowd was getting bored and many of them got up and left even as Hillary was still on stage talking. This video is depressing for Hillary and her supporters. It summed up "how well" her campaign is doing right now in New Hampshire. Here's a link to the Washington Post's video: http://www.washingtonpost.com

Never expected to see this kind of critique of Hillary Clinton in a liberal publication.

The Clintonites are out IN FORCE today, trying to save the Queen...

The comments and attacks on Obama on the leftist blogosphere would be releasing a STORM of inner-city racial riots this morning, if they had been said by REPUBLICANS....

But the real ckue to how bad things have gotten is the Gays on Kos and DU saying that Hillary is the ONLY hope for “Gay Civil Rights” (whatever that means..)

This is the DEMOCRAT CIVIL WAR we have all long expected.
The Entrenched Democrat Establishment versus the “New Democrat” left.

Grab the popcorn, because the blood is JUST starting to flow....

The rudie-ites didn't like the facts being pointed out. Giuliani bailed out of that Senate race in the spring, but didn't enter treatment until the late summer/early fall.

John Kerry has the same health problem just months before he entered the 04 presidential race.

==

Had Giuliani stayed in the Senate race and defeated Clinton, Hillary would be nothing more than a footnote in the annals of historical also-rans alongside Geraldine Ferraro.

==

Giuliani bailed in the Senate race. I don't trust him to face her in the 08 presidential race, assuming he and she are the nominees.

This is the DEMOCRAT CIVIL WAR we have all long expected. The Entrenched Democrat Establishment versus the “New Democrat” left.

Consider the problems GW Bush has had with various governmental agencies, primarily because he failed to cleanse those agencies of the entrenched Clintonites.

The Clintons have an even greater hold on the Democrat Party, because Bill became defacto leader when he won in 92. They haven't relinquished that hold, specifically because they anticipated Hillary would eventually run.

Obama is ruining their plans. He interrupted their schedule when he announced his run for the Oval Office, and that forced Hillary to into the race last January. Obama has been causing havoc with the Clintons' masterplan.

Prior to Pearl Harbor Truman was asked who we should support — Germany or the USSR. He replied that when it looked like Germany was winning we should send aid to the USSR, and when the Soviets began to win we should help the Germans. The point was to bleed both potential enemies dry so they could not become a threat to us. Perhaps this is the way we should see this primary election. In states with open primaries support Hillary when she is down but when she gains momentum independents and Republicans should vote for Obama. Also, in spreading information right now the focus should be on negative aspects of Obama - then Clinton - then Obama.

Good point. They are damaging each other. Hillary says Obama is all talk and no action. Obama says Hillary is trying to keep hope from being alive. This is a good thing.

Now, you may get your wish. The polls are tighter this morning. I think Obama will win by about 5%. Clintons will spin it as a "comeback kid" result. She'll stay in.

Tim Russert just said that the hotel worker's union in Nevada is going to endorse Obama tomorrow. That will ruin Hillary in Nevada. Obama will beat her in SC. The fight will bloody them both.

It's all good.

The Centrist/DLC coalition and infrastructure was created in the mid-80’s to get messaging past the “Democrats Lost Vietnam” mantra, and to offset the changing demographic of an increasingly Republican south.

But it has become an animal unto itself, AND IT MUST BE FED...

DC waterfront mansions and private jets cost MONEY, and that money has increasingly come by siphoning it from the government itself.

Thier are so many wonks feeding at the Party tit now that campaigning has become an INDUSTRY for the Democrats.

The “New Left” were convenient useful idiots after the Corporate lobbyists abandoned the Dems in the Early 90’s, but now they want the RESULTS they have been promised for a decade, and the 60’s radicals in charge have become CORPORATE DEMOCRATS.

It’s the DEMOCRAT ESTABLISHMENT that needs Hillary, NOT the Party, and they won’t go down without a fight.

Me?
I’ll be munching popcorn while the war passes by on my plasma TV...

>>>the women voters she’s appealing to (as her best chance to win office) do not seem to want to see her become president.

The most accurate (and tawdry) stories about the Clintons circa the 1992 election here in DC Metro were from women’s church and social groups.

Not tenth-hand hand innuendo, but typically from women whose husbands, brothers, and brothers-in-law had been working on some aspect of the Clinton campaign in some intimate capacity and often on a daily basis.

‘Nuff said.

I always thought it was delusional to think she could win outside of a liberal enclave in the first place....but didn’t think it would come into ‘play’ til the General Election itself.

Guess Democrat voters are smarter than we give them credit for.

Wishful thinking, I believe. Rudy dropped out of the Senate race because he didn’t really want the job. He wants this one and will fight for it. He will have more delegates than anyone after Feb. 5 too. I am not a Rudy-ite, just stating the facts.
