WHy does a "small scratch" require an ambulance, and a hospital? Couldn't someone have just put some alcohol and a bandiad on it?

Sounds like a terrorist plot. George Steinbrenner is running around Yankee Stadium closing the windows and installing lucite desks.

Strangely believe it, my wife was the object of a similar incident. We were at a Florida campground and sitting at the picnic table. A red shouldered hawk was flitting around the live oaks above us for a long time.

It suddenly swoooped down and headed directly for my wife’s head and when perhaps five feet away flared, put on brakes and zoomed overhead. It was coming right at us at eye level, I could see it in extreme detail.

Teen finds fowl territory at Fenway

Am I the only one who noticed this? Fowl are birds for eating. Hawks are birds of prey, not so good for eating.
