BARACK OBAMA

Obama, After Saying He Won't Wear a Flag Pin, Says He Never Said He Wouldn't Wear One

Obama, last night: "I have never said that I don't wear flag pins or refuse to wear flag pins."

Obama, October 4, 2007:

"You know, the truth is that right after 9/11, I had a pin," Obama said. "Shortly after 9/11, particularly because as we're talking about the Iraq War, that became a substitute for I think true patriotism, which is speaking out on issues that are of importance to our national security, I decided I won't wear that pin on my chest."

"Instead," he said, "I'm going to try to tell the American people what I believe will make this country great, and hopefully that will be a testimony to my patriotism."

Come on, man.

Obama's defenders are jumping up and down and screaming that the questions were unfair. But the "ordinary citizen" questioner asked a simple, pretty straightforward one:

NASH MCCABE (Latrobe, Pennsylvania): (From videotape.) Senator Obama, I have a question, and I want to know if you believe in the American flag. I am not questioning your patriotism, but all our servicemen, policemen and EMS wear the flag. I want to know why you don't.

If you can't answer that question without... well, either lying, or forgetting what your originally said about wearing a flag pin, then don't run for President.

From last night, at the debate, there were numerous lies and misleading statements.

Like him indicating that since he was only eight years old when Ayers did his bombings, that he should not be viewed negatively for his association with Ayers today.

But Obama was not eight years old when he took money from Ayers for his campaign, or when he sat on the board of trustees with Ayers, or when he went to Ayers house for a campaign meeting, or when his (Bama's) campaign indicated that he and Ayers were on a "friendly" relationship basis. All of this occurred after Ayers made it apparent that he was not repentant for his terrorist bombings and only wished he had done more.

I know something that all you bitter rural, religious, gun-toting folks don't know...

THE TRUTH ABOUT BLACK LIBERATION THEOLOGY

Listening last night to the debates started me wondering why so many naïveté airhead voters believe Barrack Hussein Obama’s public speaking skills are on par with those of say a Ronald Reagan.

Obama also said “OBAMA: “As a general principle, I believe that the Constitution confers an individual right to bear arms. But just because you have an individual right does not mean that the state or local government can’t constrain the exercise of that right, and, you know, in the same way that we have a right to private property but local governments can establish zoning ordinances that determine how you can use it. And I think that it is going to be important for us to reconcile what are two realities in this country. There’s the reality of gun ownership and the tradition of gun ownership that’s passed on from generation to generation. You know, when you listen to people who have hunted, and they talk about the fact that they went hunting with their fathers or their mothers, then that is something that is deeply important to them and, culturally, they care about deeply. But you also have the reality of what’s happening here in Philadelphia and what’s happening in Chicago.”

He is making an argument that having the right to bear arms is somehow equivelant to the violence that criminals perpetrate with weaspons in Phila and Chicago... Liberals fail to realize the simple fact that it is not the gun commiting the crime...

Additionally, Obama said effectively that states should somehow be able to constrain the rights of gun owners.... Amazing how that same argument when made about abortion just doesn’t fit the Liberal matri i.e., Women have a Federal guranteed right to have an abortion.... States are never allowed to constrain that right....

The liberal mind defy’s logic.

“became a substitute for I think true patriotism, which is speaking out on issues that are of importance to our national security,

So true patriotism is speaking out on issues.......

How brave he must feel.

Rush is blasting Barry on this now. RUSH: He can’t even say he LOVES AMERICA! He has respect or reverence or whatever...but he never says he loves this country.

The Second Amendment to the Constitution says the right to bear arms shall not be infringed. Where in the Constitution does it mention a right to private property? That shows you what Obama knows about the Constitution.

Obama's skill is with a script and a teleprompter. On his own, he's surprisingly weak and churlish. I think part of his problem with contradicting himself is that he doesn't remember everything he said in his speeches. He didn't write them, he performed them. He doesn't have to know what the words mean. It's enough to get the music and staging right, the JFK/MLK Jr. cadence, the uptilt of the jaw. Pure theatre.

He's so weak on extemporaneous stuff because his success beyond his core base of Marxists and Black Liberation fellow travelers has always depended upon illusion and masking what he really believes. That takes packaging and scripting, and he's just not able to do it on his own

Unfair question - any question that Hussein would rather not answer because it makes him look like the person he really is.

As I have posted before Obamas choice of words in his speaches are eerily close to those words Lenin used during and after the Bolshevik Revolution.

Obama is an airhead, naivete empty suit.

"Instead," he said, "I'm going to try to tell the American people what I believe will make this country great, and hopefully that will be a testimony to my patriotism."

So in other words Obama does not think America is a great nation until he says what it takes to make America great.

I wish someone would ask him if it offends him when someone calls him Barack Hussein Obama. I would love to hear that answer.
