WASHINGTON — Police in Tarpon Springs, Fla., said there was "no question" that Deborah Jeane Palfrey committed suicide by hanging Thursday, but that was not enough to stop immediate speculation that the infamous "D.C. Madam" was the victim of murder.
Hustler magazine publisher and free-speech advocate Larry Flynt -- one of Palfrey's staunchest advocates -- was the strongest voice forwarding the notion that Palfrey's death was not by her own hands.
"I think the media should be very cautious in treating this as a suicide," Flynt told FOXNews.com in a telephone interview from his Beverly Hills office.
Asked if he believed Palfrey was murdered, Flynt responded: "I personally believe that's what happened, but I have no proof."

This is just too convenient.
I have a very severe doubt that she actually hung herself.Its not the way of prostitutes , they usually are pill poppers in suicide. Hanging? Doubtful.
Miami also is one of the contract murder capitals of the world.
Too many people wanted to off her in order to end her litigation and eventual exposure of many powerful politicians and bureaucrats, to conclude that this is suicide.
I guess she should have invested in a very skilled body guard.

At this link there’s an interesting paragraph toward the end of the piece. It seems that one of the escort service employees, who also was a prof at U of Maryland, also committed suicide.
From the article: “One of the escort service employees was former University of Maryland, Baltimore County, professor Brandy Britton, who was arrested on prostitution charges in 2006. She committed suicide in January before she was scheduled to go to trial.
Last year, Palfrey said she, too, was humiliated by her prostitution charges, but said: “I guess I’m made of something that Brandy Britton wasn’t made of.”

She didn’t die in Miami, but in Tarpon Springs (that’s in Pinellas County)...just across the bay from Tampa.
