YEAH!
Better Mitt Romney as VP than Mike Huckabee!
YEAH!!!
Get Mitt. He’d be good.
Thankfully I doubt he’d tap the Huckster.
Ping
Those were indeed some very gracious words by Mr. McCain about Mr. Romney.
Lets hope not. It'll be difficult enough for many conservatives to vote for a moderate like McCain, without tossing in a life long liberal like Romney as his running mate. A poor choice and a bad decision all around.
The Mittster rides again?
Sounds like it’s a setup for Mitt to be VP. No surprise here. Make it official NOW, get a message and run with it. The ‘Rats will be in disarray at least until August.
I’m surprised to see there’s still a bunch of liberals here on FR trying to get their liberal guy in for VP. It makes sense I guess. Why would a RINO want a conservative running with him on the ticket? No wonder democrats are saying they’ll vote for McCain—liberals vote for liberals.
The biggest Judas conservatives have ever known praising the most liberal Governor in the history of the republic.
Joy...
The new John McCain Whig Party just can't make it the ash heap quick enough.
Mitt Romney would be great on the ticket and deliver a bunch of disgruntled Republicans (like myself, for example).
All of the past, present, and, I’m sure, future negative things involving RomneyCare are already creating serious problems for Mitt Romney politically, and there are a lot of other “Massachusetts problems” during Mitt’s entire duration as Massachusetts Governor that truly haven’t even been brought up yet to the majority of the general public. It would truly take too long to list all of them here, but I have listed examples here on FR in the past. I also have serious concerns with people who use any political offices mainly as stepping stones for runs for President, and I also have serious concerns for people who truly pretend to be conservatives while running for POTUS when their actual records on all of the issues show them to be non-conservatives on most issues (Mike Huckabee also comes across as being another “fake conservative” on most issues.).
I think the proof is in the pudding as they say. Romney has backed up his words with actions, while many of those supposedly “real Republicans” out there have done nothing but sit on the sidelines and whine.
True colors get revealed in such times.
